So true! We made the most of it and still had a great cruise.
I travelled on the same itinerary in December and the same thing happened. Safe to say it hasn't put me off cruising, I'm going on my 6th tui cruise very soon.

Cruise specific insurance will pay you for missed ports and excersions. Always make sure you have that on your policy. I know you would sooner have stopped at the ports, but at least you get paid when you don't.
Oh yes, once we got home and were able to check it out we did get a missed port payment each from our travel insurance which was great as at the time we didn't even realise our insurance covered that!!
We are flying tomorrow for the same itinerary so I have been excitedly waiting for more videos and thanks for the Bath and bodywork’s tip have left room in the luggage for a mini haul ❤

If you guys hit the Caribbean again, check out Turks and Caicos. We went to Beaches for our honeymoon ( 6 years and two kids later) and I think you two would adore it there

Thanks. I know we saw and heard about the reaction from other passengers that wasn't so relaxed, some people were MAD!
The Surf & Turf restaurant was amazing. Yes it's an upcharge but the meal we both had was delicious and has set the standard for all future steaks 🤤🤤 10/10 would recommend

I'm sorry I can't remember the name but something like "smokey sour"? It was listed in the menu in the disco venue and was a very fun little bit of showmanship

Thanks Aston! Yes, we did. Tui gave all passengers some onboard credit and also voucher for future holidays as a gesture of goodwill, and then our cruise travel insurance paid out too which was a lil bonus!

Yes it was a shame but we just embraced it and still had a fab cruise.
I've got a couple more vlogs from the cruise (St Lucia, then Barbados) and then straight onto our first Center Parcs vlogs of 2023 🌲🦌🥳
Every missed island is at least £50 in the bank compo
We had paid for a higher premium of cruise cover insurance so got a decent payment for the two missed ports, on top of the gesture of good will from Tui. Not that I would wish it to happen that way, but certainly helps!

Sorry you missed a couple of islands. Each Marella ship has a different animal mascot.
So what I'm hearing from this news is that we need to book a trip on every different Marella ship so I can complete the set? Sounds good to me! Haha
