Many of these artists have been rapping for 2 decades. Ozworld is the youngest in this group at 26 and started in 2018. Verbal since 1998, Awich since 2000, Jay Park since 2002, Paloalto since 2002. Dok2 since 2005. Aklo since 2008. Tak since 2005. Dok2, Paloalto, and Tak are South Korean. OzWorld, Awich, and Aklo are Japanese.
Awich is known as the "Queen of Japanese hip-hop". Awich's stage name is short for "Asian wish child" and is a tribute to her Japanese heritage. Awich raps in Japanese, Okinawan, and English, and is known for her seamless transitions between languages. Awich's musical career began in underground clubs in Okinawa, Japan, and she released her debut EP, Inner Research, in 2006. She moved to Atlanta that same year and released her debut album, Asian Wish Child, in 2007. In 2020, she signed with Universal Music Japan and released her major-label debut album, Queendom, in 2022. Awich was born Akiko Urasaki and grew up in Okinawa. 11:00 That was not Simon Jakops, that was Dok2, XGprincess just put him in to pay respect since he put this remix together. Simon Jakops is the XGALX CEO and XG's Producer and Manager. He was a member of DMTN before he went on to form XG.
Dok2 was a key figure in korean hip hop in the early 2010's, started a label called Illiionaire that blew up..... they even did a song with WuTangClan members (called The Wu & the Illy) , you should defs check it out 🙌👐
Hey bro', great reaction. FYI, all of those on this remix are legends from Korea and Japan. Alko has been around about 16 years, Palo Alto (Korean) about 19/20 years in the game, Awich (Okinawan/Japanese)18 years in the game, Jay Park (Korean American, 2011). People sleep on the fact that Japanese hip hop has been around since 1983. I know because I was stationed in Sasebo in 83' and there were a handful of clubs doing open mike nights. Do some research, it is fascinating how long they have been in the game overall. they are right behind the U.S. in terms of longevity, and they respect the craft too.
Jay Park is a Korean-American rapper. He signed with Jay-Z's roc nation . I advise you to see his work. He makes good music. He is like Chris Brown in singing and dancing and like Kendrick in rapping. His R&B album will be released on 08.10.2024. The album includes a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign and YG and P-lo he has song featured with wiz khalifa and hit-boy and 2 chainz he has freestyle in sway in the morning and LA leakers he is talented and living legend in korea
I advise you to react to his song : Jay park - On it H1ghr music - the purge H1ghr music - cypher Jay park - yacht Jay park - all i wanna do english version Thers is a lot like he say 400 song all his songs are fire 🔥
ALPHAZ on DECK! 🐺 TAK, OZWORLD, and Jay Park were lit. 🔥 Fun Facts: Jay Park is from Seattle, WA....just like XGALX's CEO, Simon "JAKOPS" Park (aka XG's mastermind/creator/producer/manager/2nd dad)....he's a former K-Pop idol from the group DALMATIAN (DMTN).🤣

Since you were stationed in Okinawa, also check out Awich's Rasen in Okinawa, featuring Tsubaki, OZWOrld, and Chico Carlito. All Okinawan rappers.

Or they not? Or they rap?
Please know that we give thanks to hip-hop"
Hell of a bar!!! They are legends. Had to do some research, but all are vital to the culture!!!
I know that Jay Park used to be signed to rock nation and awitch went to college in Atlanta supposedly
I’m trying to figure out all of their backgrounds.
Each flow is unique and paying homage shows how much XG means to the culture. 🙏🏾

Man. Losing a loved one to violence had to be shocking since Okinawa is so peaceful. That’s rough.
