It's a good side tip, but I think the value of a microscope comes in it being a dedicated, partly disposable device. I would NOT trust my pricey phone near a 450 degree iron.
Microscopes adventage is its allways running.. while on phone you have to start androin wait.. because it has to load and run java runtime library network system etc.. etc.. etc.. security checks etc .. etc.. which arent necessary just to magnify and image :) but you know what they says its for your security... yet they dont implement an imei tracking for helping you find your phone ewen if the actively can monitor imei of your stolen phone booth on abdroid and betwork providers side :) its all for your security for sure :D
Thank you for sharing that. I think there are lots of old phones that can be put to good use with that tip. Ideas for an adjustable phone holder most welcome.
This is good for monitoring or tracking malfunctions, but it is somewhat bad when welding and changing sensitive parts, because the connection is slow, fractions of a second between the phone and the computer, which affects the validity of the parts in the boards. In my opinion, choosing a microscope is much better
hello my guy first u dont need choco for installing scrcpy second in the scrcpy program there is command that's about outputing just the camera or the mic with a lot of setting u can do scrcpy --help to see command's keep up the good word ❤❤❤❤
I have an old P30 pro which has a great optical zoom and macro lens. i will try this when ive setup my new repair bench 👍👍 i will have to make an arm or something to attach it to one so it can can be moved easily into good position if i decide to use it, I have a dedicated mrcroscope camera that i have already bought so i can compare the image quality.
My P30 Pro works well, and I have been using it for months with Droidcam Pro, but I have just purchased a dedicated microscope for better quality in close up detail
@@greenmatvideos That is pretty good! I will make sure to give it a try. Thank you very much! I have an old phone, samsung note 3 neo. The camera is great and sharp! Will try it and give you some feedback.
same man.....I used many many years ago... but without choco...software...because my screen was damaged.. and want to saving my data..btw thank's for it
Chocolatey is a wonderful package manager that takes care of everything while installing. And when you need to update, you just type 'choco upgrade' and all software that you have installed with Chocolatey will be updated automagically. Chocolatey is maintained by volunteers and every software package that you can install via their package manager has been moderated by a lot of people before it is available to you, the user. I would dare to say that it is safer to install software via Chocolatey because of the people who dedicate their spare time to making sure you will always install safe software. But I totally understand any scepticism.

At least here in Argentina a good microscope with a screen is expensive. You could use an old phone for this.

You are welcome
I have a half buggered galaxy fold 2. The screen is big and the camera is great. Along with magnify app on phone thats all i really need.
Very nice, it would pair well with a dual monitor setup and a phone that has a macro camera
It's also possible to use your phone as a webcam natively since android 14
yes
Useful tutorial. It works also via wifi. Thank you for sharing!
No problem!

You also have to use external macro lens, otherwise you won't be able to soldering within this little clearance 😢
There are magnify apps on the Play Store which give you more screen room.
Thank you.

Amazing explanation boss
Thanks a lot
Thanks for sharing. There is also a windows app called phone link that can mirror the phone screen.
Miracast dongle will allow you to cast your phone to any hdmi device.
not for pixels because google sucks shit
Great video. 👏
Or installl Droidcam on phone. Then Add to OBS Studio on PC.
Good choice. You can also use Vysor to mirror your screen. Also works with iOS.
Camo is also good, perhaps even better than Droidcam.
That is very nice, but can I do the same in Linux Mint? As I don't run Windows.
I was thinking of ysing the microsoft phone link app to view the camera on my computer via obs.
Title should rather be how to mirror android screen in windows
What if someone doesn't have an extra phone with that good resolution cameras genius
Sucks to be them 🤷♂
Then pin it to the task bar Very Nice
It's cool trick 😇😇😇😇😇
is there lag between what's actually happening and what appears on the PC screen?
If there is, then I couldn't notice it. I mean, its directly connected via USB -- I'd say the same lag as a webcam.
