Dnt you know all recordings were took from india just minut after concert.we dnt have a single poster of this concert.indian media was shocked that time.when they find yanni left india immediately
We first took our children to see Yanni when they were 8 and 6 years old. They are now 23 and 21 and still listen to him. We have seen Yanni a total of 3 times as a family and we still talk about the performances. Our son has since gone on to be Director of Music at our parish and plays piano and organ. Our daughter played the Oboe in junior and high school becoming 1st chair. I attribute their love a music to seeing Yanni on PBS the first time and letting them experience his magic in person. I wish that every child had the resources to see fine music and art. Yanni is the best.
Yanni is incredible. I first heard him at 4:30s a.m. on PBS. I had just arrived in Auckland after a 13hr flight and I was too wired to sleep. I was hooked 2 minsinto his first song. I have since seen him 10 times and have never been disappointed. I am always blown away by the talent and energy of the musicians. I love it that you see all age ranges and people from all different walks of life at his concerts.

As I write this I am sitting in our hotel room watching the sun rise over the Neva river in St. Petersburg. We got in yesterday and will be here just over a week. I was a teenager then and worked as a volunteer in the local team at Agra. Was lucky enough to watch it live. It was a huge event. Even met Yanni‘s parents and gave them a sketch of Yanni, which I made🥰😍

This masterpiece is so enlighted with Gratitude, Hope & love...the three energies the human race needs the most as of right now, to remind us that truly we are one in the eyes of our lord. I think!
Perhaps THE most magnificent composer of my generation. I knew nothing of him until sometime in 1997. It was before I had Internet, hell most of us didn't. I may have heard this piece of music on the radio (before the crap that's on most places today). I immediately went and bought the VHS of this concert. Yeah we're going back 17-18 years. I was thunderstruck and speechless viewing this. I was fortunate enough to get tickets to see him perform on this 'Tribute' tour at MCI Center in downtown Washington, D.C. in January 1998. I live in the 'burbs'. I was hooked for life and have seen him in concert gee 4 more times since, my last April 11, 2011. AND I'M GOING AGAIN ON AUGUST 15 AT WOLF TRAP!! Just bought tickets today. Seven rows from stage!! Happy Dance!

My second record ever. It blew me away and still does. No one brings classically inspired arrangements to contemporary music like Yanni. I remember some people used to find his music plain and overtly commercial. I guess no one remembers those people anymore.

Perhaps THE most magnificent composer of my generation. I knew nothing of him until sometime in 1997. It was before I had Internet, hell most of us didn't. I may have heard this piece of music on the radio (before the crap that's on most places today). I immediately went and bought the VHS of this concert. Yeah we're going back 17-18 years. I was thunderstruck and speechless viewing this. I was fortunate enough to get tickets to see him perform on this 'Tribute' tour at MCI Center in downtown Washington, D.C. in January 1998. I live in the 'burbs'. I was hooked for life and have seen him in concert gee 4 more times since, my last April 11, 2011. AND I'M GOING AGAIN ON AUGUST 15 AT WOLF TRAP!! Just bought tickets today. Seven rows from stage!! Happy Dance!

My second record ever. It blew me away and still does. No one brings classically inspired arrangements to contemporary music like Yanni. I remember some people used to find his music plain and overtly commercial. I guess no one remembers those people anymore.
