    Thank you for this video. This house is one of the true gems. It's impossible to convey a sense of its beauty without being there, but this video serves as a lovely invitation.

    His domiciles are so well done they provoke an emotional response at the mere sight. Falling Water chokes me up. Same here.
    Maybe they're not the most livable, but they're visually stunning always.

      I have very few things on my bucket list but one of them is to visit Fallingwater with my two sons when they're the age I think they might be able to appreciate his work. I think about walking up to the house and I know it will bring me to tears. Like you said even thinking about it tears me up. I was trying to design a lounge chair a few weeks ago and was having problems making it look modern, streamlined and sleek, so just thinking about this man designing an entire house to bring an emotional or spiritual connection to it just blows me away. Greatest American architect ever baby!

    What are the openings in the roof over hang called? The growth of plants that shade them is wonderful. What do I call them? Trellises? Pergolas? Porticos? Brise Soleils?
