As a South African i feel like Black Americans understand our pain. Do not condescend or act superior. There is mutual. Respect for one another. Also Black Americans are not vultures with the mentality to want to take over, replace and dominate. They missed that socialisation that is prevalent in West Africa. I can listen to AAs more than any other.
Black Americans deal with the same issues from the notorious west African nation. In addition they deal with Asians, most notably Koreans and Chinese that run shops in their communities but have only contempt for black people, just like our situation here with Somalis, Pakistanis etc. Makes you think!!
Loved watching this video! You have made so many valuable points about the benefits available to African Americans considering a move or investing in South Africa. As someone who was a part of the 2024 Real South Africa tour I was excited to hear views from some of the amazing sisters I met during the trip. I wholeheartedly agree with them. I am looking forward to my return to South Africa! Keep doing beautiful work!❤

Hi Dr. Lloyd. Made it back to South Korea. Had a wonderful time with the TRSA tour group you mentioned. I plan to return to SA with my family next year with plans to relocate permanently. The SA people were amazing.
I really do love your channel and your videos, very insightful and professional and nice. I think I might just visit South Africa. Just very gorgeous luminous radiant intelligent sistas!
Great vlog, I was there last year and will be back next week. Got some great content too can’t wait to do it again. You have beautiful cheek bones by the way !! 😍🙏🏾
We like African Americans because they don't fight for the same low skilled employment pie with locals. Instead, they bring opportunities. But the govts of Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Malawi, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Somali, Ethiopia , Mozambique have transfered their poverty & unemployment problems to SA. Many are here illegally & we want them out Bring more Africa Americans please
Lesotho are our first cousins, their country is totally landlocked within SA and they sacrificed a lot for SA during apartheid to assist our freedom fighters (ask Chris Hani's family, the late Tito Mboweni went to university in that country while in exile!). It's a poor country that still needs a lot of support from SA. On the other hand, the government of countries have much greater opportunities to fix their social issues but are not willing due to corruption. As for Malawi, their government was in bed with apartheid NP regime in the past.
@@hopes9451 not always. Leabua Jonathan is the one who supported us. Lekganya & his crew overthrew him because they wanted close ties with Apartheid govt. Besides, Lesotho govt must create jobs for its own people(landlocked or not).

I left South Africa 42 years ago because of Apartheid. When the Sister who spoke about Serafina said her friend from Senegal said to go to South Africa because it will be a soft landing, my tears flooded onto my keyboard.
@DrAntoinetteLloydMD I visited four times over the years. I am reluctant to return permanently because of the crime and the corruption. Also, in Africa, one if the cultural beliefs is one person works and ten people eat. And unfortunately the expat would be the one to work. The lack of employment are to be blamed for this.

As a South African I will tell you one thing. South Africa is just another extension of Mystery Babylon. South Africa is as wicked as America. This land also has judgement pending. Alotta blood was shed for this country to be established. So great judgement is on the way.
@kabelothebe4350 you think all the atrocities that the British and Dutch committed here will be left unchecked?!? Don't forget that South Africa is their creation. It was created in 1905. This is still their country. And it has to be destroyed. Are you forgetting that it is our country that legalized same sex marriage way before the USA even did. This country serves wickedness throughout and God will cleanse this land. And we all know that the next cleansing is not by water but by fire. So we have to brace ourselves.
