DANG......I watch all the videos....look back at my printing in high school. And, I really think it is an AGE THING! I am old., and I just can't make it look as pretty anymore!!!! (Even though I did 15 years ago, all on my own hand calligraphy (with no training) all my wedding invitations. AND THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL!!!! (AT LEAST TO ME!!!)
I used to have more patience when I was younger so I can relate. Now my hands sometimes don’t do exactly what I want but I will just let it go and move on instead of practicing and drilling to perfection. I think that just get worse as we get older… at least it does for me. 😂😅
This was incredibly helpful! I just found your channel and have been binge watching for days. Would you consider making this available as a PDF to retain as a cheatsheet?
Your handwriting is beautiful. Thank you for breaking this down and explaining how simple changes can make a big difference. I'm going to challenge myself to use a few on these styles.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been trying out the low cross style of print lettering lately without knowing what the name of the style is, and I'm excited to get more practice with the wide and narrow styles.
Personally, I prefer lined but I don’t follow conventional rules. 😅 Most people start learning using drills and there is a specific lined worksheet paper to help with that (think elementary school paper with a super wide rule and dotted middle line).
You ought to turn your lettering into a sticker book! Lol! Idk how you would do that, but it’d be cool if you did!
Aww, that is sweet! I would have never thought to do that. Maybe someday...
I would totally buy it!

Hope it helps you mix things up!
Loved this cause I’ve been working on my lettering. I like the wide because it’s easier for me to read and looks neater. Thanks for sharing this.

Glad to hear the tips are useful! Happy lettering! 😁✍️💕
Very good
Thanks!
This is so helpful! Seems like a brain teaser at the same time. I’ll need to make this sheet to refer to. ❤
A reference sheet definitely helps in the beginning.

TFS! 🤗📖💕
I just discovered your video today. Which type of paper is best to use in your classic planner for practicing hand lettering: dotted, lined, or blank?
Personally, I prefer lined but I don’t follow conventional rules. 😅 Most people start learning using drills and there is a specific lined worksheet paper to help with that (think elementary school paper with a super wide rule and dotted middle line).
