Crash counter check Airbag | resistance values for airbag units in Audi and VW with VCDS

In this video I show you how you can use VCDS to read out the number of crashes and the resistance values for the airbag/belt tensioner igniters in ohms for Audi and VW. This is useful to check if the airbag has deployed or if there is a short circuit in the airbag system. I use the extended measurement blocks from VCDS for this. It may be useful to check these values when purchasing a used car to ensure that the car has not been in an accident or that the airbag is working properly.

IDE00919 Driver side airbag igniter Ohm value
IDE01099 Igniter 2 for driver side airbag Ohm value
IDE01100 Igniter for passenger side airbag Ohm value
MAS00914 Number of front crashes
MAS00915 Number of side crashes on driver side
MAS00917 Number of rollovers
MAS00918 Number of side crashes on passenger side
MAS00919 Number of rear crashes

Danke. Auch für die Fehlersuche, bei Kontakt Problemen an den gelben Steckern kann man gut den Widerstandswert auslesen.
