The "flying"/levitating thing is that there are some pokemon that have both animations - a standing one and a flying/levitating one. If you make a swap the animation goes off whatever mon you swapped out for. So if you swap gengar in from a pelipper it'll levitate, but if you swapped out an iron treads, it'll stand normally

When I played Pokemon as a kid infatuation never did anything for the first 2 rounds, then on turn 3 and afterwards my pokemon never did anything. I always thought the chance to be infatuated increased each round.
