Great tips Jeanette. I bought two bobbin winders once (not at the same time) and wound up returning each of them. They stunk and were impossible to use. Lately the one on my SE1900 is working better than it used to work for specific color needs. Mostly I buy pre-wound bobbins from Amazon.
Jeanette I need help. I am working on hankies 1 small letter in corner. I tried several ways to do this even yours nd still get puckers. So decided to buy 65/9 emb needles. But Amazon says sewing needles I need help please. New yo me. Lol

If you are embroidering small fonts you need to use 60wt thread with a 65/9 needle and you have to run the machine slowly.
