If you want a true sims island challenge, play The sims cast away for nintendo wii. It's literally you stranding on a island and trying toget back to society. I would love to see isp try that out.
IIRC it's not only on Wii, but on PC too. And the experience is quite funny, if not short.

Funnily enough, if you told me, IRL that a famous and extremely well-regarded author sold all his possessions, and bought an island, I'd 100% believe you. Even if you include he lived alone on it in a tiny shack, but had a massive private bar, and spent all his time digging randomly in the sand like an overexcited puppy.
If you try to wash in a sea (or salty water) you quickly realize why you could only wash yourself under the waterfall from a spring.
