Alex congrats!! I am from Mount Vernon, NY actually living in Sao Paulo Brazil.I use to teach pilots and flight attendants for evalluation ICAO -International Civil Aviation Organization Inflight situations tests. English language test designed to assess pilots, air traffic controllers and light aircraft pilots for licensing purposes, as required by the ICAO Language Proficiency Requirements.Have you ever considered teaching P's and FA's?
Hi Alex - I am an English teacher too - I have to say you do a great job. Btw I taught phrasal verbs to my class and one of the students after looking in her dictionary asked me whether the past tense of wake was waked. Lol my reply was - I would say no - rather 'woke'. I had never heard of it before. Well, i proceeded to look it up on online dictionaries and indeed you can use waked in the past tense and as the past participle. Heheheh - So, upon more research - and after being humbled by my student's research - I found that it was a rare usage - though not so in the United States - and woke tended to be used in British English. What do u think? - and please tell me you did not know - I will feel a lot better.
well i think you use GET UP when you leave the bed in the morning, and you use STAND UP when you are sitting in a chair or another place and you want to be in a vertical position.

You sound pretty much like a Mexican Politician. Are Chinese learning from Mexican Politicians or the Mexicans have learned from the Chinese?
