⁃ Kohlrabi 1 piece
⁃ 🍞Breadcrumbs
⁃ Mozzarella cheese 🧀125g
⁃ 🍅Tomatoes 2 pcs.
⁃ Parsley
⁃ 🧄Garlic 1 clove
⁃ Mix the herbs oregano, thyme and rosemary
⁃ Salt pepper
⁃Olive oil
Recipe 2:
Ingredients:
- Kohlrabi 1 pc.
- Sweet potatoes 🍠 2 pcs.
- green onions, parsley, dill
- Egg 🥚 1 pc.
- Natural yogurt 100g
- Rice flour 70g
- Baking powder 2g
- Breadcrumbs 🍞 50g
- Garlic 🧄 1 clove
- Cheddar cheese 🧀 50g
- Olive oil
- Salt 🧂

⁃ Cream 18% 150 ml
⁃ Butter 10g

⁃ Parmesan cheese 🧀30g
⁃ Some nutmeg
⁃ Parsley 🌿
⁃ Vegetable broth 500 ml

The first time I had Kohlrabi, it was fresh out of a friend's garden. Peeled, sliced thin, eaten raw with a sprinkle of salt.
I've had it many ways since, but my best memory is the pure pleasure of that simple, unadorned treat.
That sounds like a wonderful memory! Fresh produce straight from the garden is always so special.

kohlrabi is very simple to enjoy: i slice it as thick as she’s,then soak with apple cider,water.and sugar,put in the fridge,it lasted well if you boiled water.its delicious as a condiment.easy and cheap.

I'm also diabetic (type 2, and my blood sugar level is not high, hence I'm not on medication). There are two further recipes for kohlrabi dishes which may interest you: 1/ cubed, sautéed kohlrabi in cream sauce, with dill (delicious!); and 2/ raw kohlrabi, grated, as a salad - either with yoghurt and dill, or with olive oil and any green herb of your choice (though parsley is probably best). These two lovely dishes are common in Moravia (Mähren), a part of the Czech Republic, where I come from (though I now live in London). I have also heard of 3/ cubed kohlrabi, sautéed in olive oil and a splash of white wine. I believe this is an Italian recipe, and have yet to try it. Bon appétit!

Я́ давно делаю салат из кольраби Наьираю головку кольраба,большое кислое яблоко,большой огурец и большую морковку.Все перемешиваю и делаю заливку - 2 столовые ложки оливкового масла,две столовые ложки лимонного сока,соль по вкусу.Отличный сочный салат!
Спасибо большое за рецепты, досмотрела до конца. В нашем регионе кольраби мало продаётся и готовят только салат.

I love kohlrabi grew up on it from my German mother and Hungarian grandmother. My favorite is cut up and boiled with a delicate cream sauce with lots of nutmeg! Will definitely try these.

We usually eat this raw only. But sometimes cook adding prawns, sometimes chickpea, sometimes yellow lentils. 👌🏼👌🏼

I find kohlrabi hard to find in the USA. It's one of my most favorite to snack on, pickled with carrots , green papaya, Asian pears as pairing with Asian egg rolls.
Have you tried checking out local farmer's markets or specialty grocery stores? They might have kohlrabi in stock!
If you have a Whole Foods near you I know they have them. They are the only place besides the farm that I go to.

I'd halve & grate the tomatoes. Far less washing up. I'd also freeze the Mozarella before grating to make it easier or, better still, slice it
