Jedd - its going to be a great instrumental album when its finished ! You are a gem!!
I dig the instrumental and I liked it better when you slowed it down a bit. I think the melody stood out more.
I've always assumed Vegemite is similar to Marmite? I gave Marmite an honest try when a British friend bought me a jar. It's a bit of a shock for an American pallet. None of us really like coffee or beer the first time we try it, but after a while we grow to appreciate it. Maybe Marmite and Vegemite need to be given the same effort. Either way, it's good to be exposed to new things.
Thanks for these wonderful videos, Jedd. ❤
Vegemite with avocado on a poppy seed knot roll Jedd
Nice tune! Love the descending chromatic altered chords. The “melody” has a Jerry Reed feel.
Thanks Jed , I can hear that train!
Keep up the great content bro. I’ve been loving the new videos and have been going back and checking old the older one. Love the one with you and Buk just hanging out. Watched that one multiple times. 😂
Thanks, Jedd!!! It's always great to hear what has been keeping you busy!
Wow!! Love your playing Jedd!!
It looks like your neck pickup is turned around. Do you prefer it that way? Love your playing!
I didn't notice that. Good question!
Fantastic playing. 🤙🏼
Great way to start the day mate, that Tele sounds great. And hey, the Pichi Richi is on the agenda for next year!
He just smiled and gave me a vegamite sandwich.....
Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder?
You'd better run, you'd better take cover!
Always a pleasure to check in with you!
Can’t wait for more tele’s. My Coast Guard needs a friend
I love where your going with that, the jazz theme is way out of my wheel house though. I hate to say it, but I can't do Face Book. I can explain, just not here. That was such a good idea to start with, then people find ways to misuse it and make it a bad thing. Maybe a discord server account? Or Patreon? I like the color of that Tele! I'm building a Tele for a buddy who got his leg blown up in Vietnam. I'm using a Babicz Full Contact Bridge, in gold, and it would look really cool w/that color/army theme!! 8) Cheers, --gary
Was hoping for a video today! Thanks!
Hi Jedd do have a practice routine? or a warm Up things. Thanks
You make a great ad for Vegemite (whatever it is)
Jedd, you seem very happy and inspired today! :)
I love seeing it! 👍
I could never get down with vegemite. But good on ya!
Good on you, Jed! Is that enough Vegemite for more than a sandwich? If you can send me a mailing address I will send you a free jar here from an Aussie in San Diego. I just watched your interview on Truetone lounge. Superb. I encourage others to have a watch. It reminded me a little of when I came to America from Melbourne, broke and looking for work. If you watch footy, what team do you barrack for?
You better sell that tele before I find out where you live and steal it from you. I'm only about 500 miles away! 😁😎🤓 Those pickups are so clear and well balanced.
The d day tele ✌🏻
As a banjo player, I had no idea that Alan Munde had that background. 😊
Neck pick up, "Greenie" wiring on a green guitar? Or is it just the pick up cover, if that's possible
Did I hear a little Steely Dan there at the end after the chopper tele comment? Sounded like the opening to Deacon Blues.
That's the transition to get out of the B section.
I have a question: Tele bridge PU icepick...what are the ways you avoid that ? Other than turn down the tone knob, I get that, but want to keep the spank on the lower strings....turn the pick sideways......play with lighter touch on the B & E.....what else ?
Or just down treble a hair on your amp? Is fine as long as your not switching guitars regularly.
Sorry for bombarding you with msgs but you could put a ge7 or similar EQ pedal in your chain. I just roll off tone knob tho normally. You get used to it and then can use it as a boost if you need the extra top end for cutting through.
Wire the time knob to just the bridge pickup. That way, you can roll off the treble on the bridge p/u without muddying up the neck p/u. Works great for me.
