In this video, I tackle overcoming self-doubt, why we should be making the time for music in our crazy busy lives, and remembering why we fell in love with music in the first place.
I know for a fact that it is never too late to start or restart making music. and sometimes, the first step to becoming a musician again is a quiet one, Just a kind of hunch or stopping by to watch a video.

I don’t think you are ever too old for music. I just do it for myself. I do miss having others to bounce ideas off.
thats one of the things I was trying to say - so good to have music mates when i ran the monthly meetups at my studio - people made unlikely alliances - can you invite someone to jam with ? are you sure there isnt a music meetup near you ? or an open mic ? or could you start an open mic ?
I'm 28 and people like you inspire me so much, you're a breath of fresh air :)

I'm surprised there aren't more comments here. Maybe people are too self conscious about it.
Im 58 now and due to a combination of having access to a bit of my pension and Behringer, I've got a nice collection of synths (I'm a keyboard "player"). I've not gotten round to setting up studio space yet as my older kids have recently left home, but the place strangely seems fuller than ever before😅
It's not just me though, my missus and the older 3 girls play Brass - they're the proper musicians, I just play at it😉
thanks for your comment - this is well cool - nice one - however I would politely suggest that you are proper too ... I love the sound of your brass section can you record or sample them and get them in your project >??
@@TheCreativeHeadSpace it's definitely something I want to do before I croak. Like getting my hair cut. I'm still rocking my covid hair "style". I'm just afraid that when I do get it cut, there won't be enough left to keep any of it!
