Thank you Janice for the advice and very good information. Thank you ❤

Am an OFW in Dubai and a financial literacy advocate. In one of the trainings that we conduct, I've been asked by a participant regarding the best life/health insurance for their elderly parents in the Philippines. A hospital stock is one that I recommend in lieu of medical insurance because I've seen the benefits of being a shareholder with my own parent. My mom has a HMO but the service and coverage are very poor, so we are very thankful we were able to get a share in the hospital near our residence. For her age, the profit sharing/dividends is just secondary. She is able to really make the most out of the discount for the medical services.

There are other hospitals also like Las Piñas Doctors Hospital
      according to Rappler:
Currently, Makati Medical Center (MMC), The Medical City (TMC), and the United Doctors Services Corporation (UDSC) are allowed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to sell shares to the public
      Ace branches:
      images.app.goo.gl/e5oGBsrQbxcScoFYA
What you can do po is check the hospitals in your area and you can ask them directly if they are registered with the SEC and if they have the licence to share shares to the public.
What you can do also is to do a Google search:
Name of Hospital + shareholder + SEC
Hope this helps. Thank you po for watching!

Hello Sis! Best to check pos a Ace Hospital you're visiting first para makasigurado. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching! 😊

Hello, good morning po. I think the best thing to do po is to visit the hospital and inquire there. So all inquiries are addressed by her. You can also take a look at the licences that they have and ask the benefits they offer at kung magkano kasi iba-iba po ito depende sa ospital.
I will not be able to tell people which hospitals offer shares to the public, impossible po iyon kasi wala rin akong mahanap na full list. Mas maganda po talaga dayunin or if you're not here, you can send a family member or representative.
Like yung sa Diliman, may SEC ruling doon. Not sure sa update as of now. Hope you have someone trustworthy who can do the legwork for you po, which is what we did din. We physically went to the hospital to inquire para sure kami na tama ang information na ibibigay nila.
Hope this helps po and thank you for watching 🙏🙏🙏

@leandropadong8051 my plessure po. Sana po makatulong ito and if you're an OFW, please share the good news with friends so we can help them too.
Healthcare is a big burden for OFWs who have elderly or kids back home. 😊
