I'll be lucky if I'm still walking at 80... let alone gutting a bldg and starting a potatoe garden. Huge respect, Mick. You're built out of tough stuff.
Once you get the library finished, you might think about asking viewers to send in a book 📖 or two from the place they are watching from. A unique way of filling the shelves, maybe a section dedicated to viewers.
Wow that first shot of the men standing up above really put the vast scale of the room into prospective! The library is going to be impressive!! It was an ingenious idea! ❤😊🇨🇦
I thought the same thing when I saw Yannis at the window from the outside perspective, I know he is not too tall, but he looked so tiny at the window. The inside camera shots just don't do justice to how grand this building really is.
Hyannis seems like he is enjoying himself! He has come a long way from when we first met him! His English has improved and he is learning so many slills. It would be great to learn more about his background! Keep up the great work!!
WOW, what did Yannis have for breakfast!!??? You all are working machines! Can’t wait to watch the transformation like in the kitchen. Wonderful job all of you! How about a update on the kitchen at the Chateau!
Oh so many comments. First, wish Dad a very Happy 80th Birthday. He is an amazing guy. Keep going Dad. So glad Rick is back and contributing so much to the project. Keep smiling. Billy, are you sliming down? That's great for your health and being a health active Dad. Awesome!! Finally, the library project is SO exciting!!! We tune in daily to see your next steps of demolition. Keep up the great work. One day I hope to be able to visit the library. ❤🎉😊
Yannis's nick name should be TAZ for the tasmanian devil on bugs bunny, he twirls in circles as he does stuff and as he swirls all dust and debris follows lol. Rick is a solid hard worker as Yannis is great team. Your dad is awesome and deserves a big party for his 80th. I hope he enjoys every minute of family and friends gathering for his awesome day. :) :)
Your family and friends will have a wonderful time at the chateau for Nick’s 80th, but I bet they can’t wait to see the convent. You all are doing a fantastic job.
So happy to see Mick working in the garden. Those potatoes are going to be delicious come fall and winter. Rick and Yannis complete your dream team Billy. Hat off to all of you. 🙏❤️
Have you thought about letting the kids have a piece of the garden to tend as their own? We gave each daughter a piece and they could choose flower or veg. They really enjoyed it and learned responsibility through working it. They both miss it as they are in college now.
I hope they decide to add a spiral staircase in the library. Being able to climb from the 1st to the 2nd floors without having to walk down the hallway would be convenient. Plus, a spiral staircase always adds a bit of class to any project!
Yanis fits in here like a glove and not just as a worker but a true friend and a decent man. The glove expression is old but my goodness, so accurate. HugZ to all.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
For most of this video, I worried about "falling in" on the part of the workers. BTW, if this library is going to be full of expensive books, some remotely operated sunshades should be provided on the windows. Libraries are traditionally dark for a reason.
Isn't there a public holiday tomorrow in France as in Denmark. I think the wildly hard-working people need to rest their bodies and get out and air their lungs. There are so many chemicals in all the dust they constantly walk around in. It is so much extraordinary hard work that wears out the body. Yanis must have at least 8000 calories a day if he is not to disappear in the dust. Hats off to those who work hard.
What an incredible amount of work you all have done, it’s hard to believe how much has been removed and how open it feels now. It really gives you the idea of how the library will look in the end, so bright and light filled. Great work everyone!
I feel like I get a workout every time I see your dad, Rick, and Yanis working hard. Seeing stripped down absolutely shows how massive this project has been, and how amazing the library is going to be. 🤗
Yaay for planting potatoes! 🎉 It would be easy to put in some pumpkin vines too and just leave them to free range for the growing season - roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, pumpkin scones, pumpkin pasta - yum! 😊
Billy,Mic,Yanis, and Rick my loves. Yanis really gets into the demolition work. A lot of tearing down. Well my darlings until tomorrow. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🍺🌈🙏🌹🕊👍🌞❤️😇🇺🇸
Yanis is a little cutie…puts his heart into it..u boys are gonna need a short break soon and breath some fresh air. Someone cook yanis a nice big meal he’s fading away .
Well, what can I say, you lot are amazing .Yanis the machine, and Mick, the wonder man, is a joy to see you work as a family, with your extended family, happy birthday Mick
Ok guys. The image at .35 has got to be the cutest image I’ve seen on this channel! It needs a pretty frame. Preferably one made with ancient laths. 😂❤
Yannis has amazing balance on that wobbly scaffolding. Big shout to your dad for not worrying about his number and just getting on with it. Just because we age doesn’t mean we should give up, we just go a little slower. Happy Birthday Mr. Petherick!
You guys are awesome! Yiannis doing his thing...brilliant! Watching your dad reminds me when my dad would "weed" or "hill up" the rows in the veggie garden, back in the day.
Great job gentlemen! What a dirty mess. Loved Rick's shirt. Seeing your dad gardening was really nice. He looked like he was enjoying himself. The grounds are beginning to come alive after a very long nap. Yennis needs a raise and new work clothes after this job. So glad you all are wearing eye protection and masks. Safety first. I really enjoy these videos. 👍
I am enjoying the one week on the convent and one week at the chateau.... It means that both sites are getting worked on, but a nice mix of work for the team. Well done. Keep up the great work all.
I love the final overview, everything is always so tidy, I would imagine it is so satisfactory coming in the morning and not have to push brooms and shovels and dust right off the get go...well done guys...!
I apreciate much your explaining about the Floors Billy and also I do understand. The show must go on! ; )) I watch those Steel beams, hiding the old ones. What a major renovation this must have been way back when.... Big chuckle needing the 'Upright' to close the Window.
you'll keep a fine harvest from those spuds Mick. When you get to the orchard planning, there is a body of Research regarding the ergonomics of apple cores in the Moutere Hills region of New Zealand. The research orchard was next to an orchard where I used to pick during the season. The residents at the Research Station were Dutch and they shared the same sort of sense of humour as all us pickers. After all these years, I can't remember their name, and, as it was Dutch I couldn't have pronounced it then either. The Hoogenglugenkleps had a delightful son, who was kind enough to let the cat out of the bag about what they were working on, and, when we got to the Golden Delicious on the boundary, a whole bough of apples had been finely tuned to display the perfect apple cores. From one end of the branch to the other ~ apple cores. When Britain joined the European Common Market, many New Zealand orchards had to be pulled out because the biggest market had left, but the fine work done at the Research Station is most probably archived someplace.
Happy Birthday Mick ,much love and best wishes to you and your family plus your great mates who work alongside you and Billy ,they are awesome and you are a legend !
Billy, I have really enjoyed watching your progress on this project. As others say, Yannis works like a piston in a machine, he is amazing to watch on this channel and the others where he is laboring. Your face is thinning out, hope it is intentional. Take care and crack on.
Yannis is a demolition demon. He’s outstanding. The floor is breaking up like match sticks. Rick is great with team work. You dad Billy is wonderful too. He works very hard. Thank you may you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Hi Billy, just a thought, but maybe your dad could use those old beams to plot out different areas of the garden. Like veggies, tomatoes and his potatoes. Great job by the demo team of Rick & Yanis!
Food for thought. I would recommend using a skill saw and run the blade either side of the joists. Could save the man's back! Just an observation. Great work though!
Can someone give Yannis a spa day? He is amazing.
I'll second that!!
Third!!!!!
Yes I was wondering if there is a hot tub for him to relax in at the chateau ❤
needs his own channel..
I broke a 69 up vote streak for this.
Here’s wishing Mick a very happy 80th birthday. He’s incredible!
Happy birthday 🎂 I hope you have a great day from Texas
Yannis works his a$$ off. What a hardworking young man.
If Simon comes back, he will be working for Yanis!
From the camera angle I’d say he’s got buns of steel…pretty hard to work that off.🖤🇨🇦
I'll be lucky if I'm still walking at 80...
let alone gutting a bldg and starting a potatoe garden.

Yannis is a beast with that bar! We should get him a business card..."Demo Man: Pry bar, will travel."
Thank you for wearing masks!
Once the library is finished, you're going to have to get the elevator working 🙂
Wow that first shot of the men standing up above really put the vast scale of the room into prospective! The library is going to be impressive!! It was an ingenious idea! ❤😊🇨🇦
Looked like dollhouse!❤
I thought the same thing when I saw Yannis at the window from the outside perspective, I know he is not too tall, but he looked so tiny at the window. The inside camera shots just don't do justice to how grand this building really is.

Yes, they should talk a little about his background! We love watching how he is so positive and hard working young man!
WOW, what did Yannis have for breakfast!!??? You all are working machines! Can’t wait to watch the transformation like in the kitchen. Wonderful job all of you! How about a update on the kitchen at the Chateau!

That pink double-door upstairs has such a "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" vibe.
More like "Sudden Impact" without any floor!?!
Must be itchy after getting showered in all that mess. Like your curls Yanis. Great teamwork.
I love to see that gardening has started!
Your family and friends will have a wonderful time at the chateau for Nick’s 80th, but I bet they can’t wait to see the convent. You all are doing a fantastic job.

Great idea! My Mom gave me a small plot when I was about 8 yrs old and have loved gardening for many decades now.
@@silverymoon5516 Love hearing this
I’m amazed none of those windows got smashed yet.
Team Petherick!!! Yes boys
😊🏴
I hope they decide to add a spiral staircase in the library. Being able to climb from the 1st to the 2nd floors without having to walk down the hallway would be convenient. Plus, a spiral staircase always adds a bit of class to any project!
I can't imagine how much stronger Yanis is after falling in with this lot.
Who needs a gym when you have a convent to demo & restore?? 😂🤣😅
Maybe his strength came first and skill later. Or maybe someone just finally gave him a chance to show what he's got.
True,,he might be a small build, but his strength and stamina is incredible! He just never stops👏🏻🤗🥵
There’s just something about wee Yannis I could watch him all day , he’s like a wee terrier dog 💙😂😘🇬🇧
Isn't there a public holiday tomorrow in France as in Denmark. I think the wildly hard-working people need to rest their bodies and get out and air their lungs. Wow, Yanis is doing demo waking and sleeping! The “dust break” with a shot of the splendid kitchen was a nice touch.
Your papa is amazing ❤
What an incredible amount of work you all have done, it’s hard to believe how much has been removed and how open it feels now. It really gives you the idea of how the library will look in the end, so bright and light filled. Great work everyone!
Yannis is what we call in the South a "Get 'ere Done" kinda person!, hahaha
Yannis and Rick are bonkers and loving it. Big smiles as they knock everything out.. got to love em👏👏👏👏❤
Wishing Mick a very very happy 80th birthday! What an amazing man. He reminds me of my late grandfather who was born in London 1914.🎉🎉🎉
I feel like I get a workout every time I see your dad, Rick, and Yanis working hard. Seeing stripped down absolutely shows how massive this project has been, and how amazing the library is going to be. 🤗
Best part of my day watching Petherick team xxx💕💕💕
Yaay for planting potatoes! 🎉
It would be easy to put in some pumpkin vines too and just leave them to free range for the growing season - roast pumpkin, pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, pumpkin scones, pumpkin pasta - yum! 😊
That shot at the beginning of the height is mind boggling. Yannis is certainly the wrecking machine. Go Yannis.
I haven't enjoyed watching someone making such a mess. LOL. But the end result will be beautiful.
Yanis is the energizer bunny…the man. Never stops. This library is going to be epic.🖤🇨🇦
That space is going to be beautiful!😄❤️
Looking so light and large looking amazing 😊
Billy,Mic,Yanis, and Rick my loves. Yanis really gets into the demolition work. A lot of tearing down. Well my darlings until tomorrow. Please, take care and stay safe. Love ya 🍺🍺🍺🍺🌈🙏🌹🕊👍🌞❤️😇🇺🇸
Forever forward! I am enjoying watching your progress
Yanis is a little cutie…puts his heart into it..u boys are gonna need a short break soon and breath some fresh air.
Someone cook yanis a nice big meal he’s fading away .
Fresh Air will be plentiful once the demolition work is completed as they have to reconfigure it then which will take several times as long!?!
I want to know what these guys eat for breakfast!!!!!! I definitely want to try some as I’m approaching Mr. Pethricks age. Great workers!!!!
According to Kurt Vonnegut, the Breakfast of Champions is a martini.
now I'm worried about Billy, you skipping meals Billy?
Well, what can I say, you lot are amazing .Yanis the machine, and Mick, the wonder man, is a joy to see you work as a family, with your extended family, happy birthday Mick
Ok guys. The image at .35 has got to be the cutest image I’ve seen on this channel! It needs a pretty frame. Preferably one made with ancient laths. 😂❤
I am AMAZED 😮 to see this change! Billy, you are a gifted visionary man🎉 THIS IS AMAZING❤THANKS for letting us into your journey!
Looking awesome!! Thanks to Yannis and All💕
I want to live in that kitchen.
A very happy birthday to Mick. I hope the day goes wonderfully well, and the family get together will be a fantastic time for you all.
Yannis has amazing balance on that wobbly scaffolding. Big shout to your dad for not worrying about his number and just getting on with it. Just because we age doesn’t mean we should give up, we just go a little slower. Happy Birthday Mr. Petherick!
A lot of fire wood!
That flooring is very brittle. I don't think you could have saved much of it the way it is splintering.
Kindling?
Amazing that you had the vision for this project Billy. And the willing hands to make it blossom.
You guys are awesome! Yiannis doing his thing...brilliant! Watching your dad reminds me when my dad would "weed" or "hill up" the rows in the veggie garden, back in the day.

I still can't believe, floor and ceiling made with actual dirt.
Looks amazing. Interesting how they used dirt and straw to insulate. Makes for very messy demo.
Billy & the gang time .. hurrah 👏😁
I am enjoying the one week on the convent and one week at the chateau.... It means that both sites are getting worked on, but a nice mix of work for the team. Well done. Keep up the great work all.
I notice time and time again that Yannis is not only a hard worker but he’s also fearless!
I love the final overview, everything is always so tidy, I would imagine it is so satisfactory coming in the morning and not have to push brooms and shovels and dust right off the get go...well done guys...!

This is going to be such an amazing library!😊
I'm closing in on 80, when I see your Dad working I feel I should step up my game!

I love that you’ve started doing endings again Billy ❤
all the memories & solitude of those rooms upstairs leaving like dust in the wind.. does it feel different now ?
Incredible job! Also, Micks garden looks great!
Yanis is amazing!! 🎉 Rick your Dad and Yanis have done so much work!
Love the light beaming through those 8 windows!
Happy Birthday Mick!! 🎉 🇨🇦
Love the pethricks
The light is amazing!
Happy Birthday Mick ,much love and best wishes to you and your family plus your great mates who work alongside you and Billy ,they are awesome and you are a legend !
Kudos to Yanis! 👏 That looks like back-breaking work. Wow, well done, mate. Just watching him do the floor demo made me reach for the Advil.
Billy, I have really enjoyed watching your progress on this project. As others say, Yannis works like a piston in a machine, he is amazing to watch on this channel and the others where he is laboring. Your face is thinning out, hope it is intentional. Take care and crack on.
A man and his bar. A timeless theme.
Nothing worse when Yanis is ripping up flooring and someone is standing on it
That will be a spectacular library. Very dramatic two stories.
Rick! I'm from Hawaii and I love your shirt!
....and you even seen it without watching RUclips!?!
Congratulations boy's brilliant job 🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍🤗👍
Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Hiw can such a small body do so much heavyt work? Greast job, Yannis!
Thank you for the video! I love your work.
Happy Birthday Mick! Yannis, you're a hard working man, I can imagine you're thinking about that in your sleep!
What a hard working crew !!😊😊
The library is going to be fabulous .
Yanis! The master in demolition!👍👍👍
Happy 80th Mick, you're amazing, enjoy your special day 😘
Covent is just gorgous! Awesome work!
Yannis needs a haircut 😂. He works like a Trojan !
Wow, these guys sure are wrecking balls. What a great team you have.
I hope Yanis is well fed! He certainly burns off a lot of energy during the day.
No wonder the beams were sagging with all that dirt as insulation. absolutely incredible the amount of rubble taken out.
That is an amazing perspective. Yannis growing his hair and beard out makes him look like the wild man we all think of him.
For sure, I thought, there will be treasure...or at least a button or two.
Will be fab to see proper kitchen garden at the convent
Prying up the floor sounds like Pi k Floyds Dark Side of the Moon! I have wondered how they did the sound effects all these years. LOL
Moving right along. 😊❤
I love all the team who are helping restore the convent and the chateau, but Yannis is amazing
