Nowadays The Pokemon Company is like "So, Evolving Skies is popular and Fusion Strike is unpopular? Put one Evolving skies pack in every $40 box but put 4 Fusion Strike into it as well.

Pokemon center evolving skies etb is only a 1 pack and art difference. Maybe 2 pack difference but nothing crazy. I guess it'd be valuable to someone mastering sealed
I'm still trying to figure out who is consistently buying 36 packs for almost $1000. You get like 5 or 6 pulls total per box. You could buy the entire set at singles for the price of 3 booster boxes. The odds of one vmax alt arts is one per 4 boxes. When the sealed gets this crazy it makes me wonder who's pushing the price that high.
What's funny is back in april i was selling alot of my SIR, IR and some swsh alt art to try to complete my swsh alt art. Never happen because swsh alt art shot up in price all of a sudden and SIR and IR were at the lowest, i sold alot of my 151 and other IR, SIR for cheap. Now SIR and IR and climbing too lol.

I’ve fully convinced release day 3 pack blisters are loaded. Time and time again I’m proven right. lol I’m also convinced booster boxes from Korosseo Shop are loaded as well 😉 pulled 4 SAR’s in 2 booster boxes with an Espeon MB.

Evolving skies is one of the worst sets to open. It's nicknamed evolving cries for a reason. The pull rates are abysmal. if you don't pull an alt art you get nothing. Even if you could get it at msrp you would lose a ton of money.
just got two evolving etbs ripped. Nah, not again. None of the big pulls (to be expected) had say maybe 4-5 of the mid-value pulls but the printing job on several including the Glaceon Vmax rainbow was not what it should be. It's so popular in large part because the top pulls are worth quite a bit (esp in a psa10) but i wonder how many folks spend a ridiculous amount of money only top open a box and get a couple nice pulls and then readily can tell they def aren't pulling that psa10 because the printing is such trash.
I'm glad I was lucky enough to be in the hobby when ES was released. I opened a ton of it and it was brutal at times but overall, it was very good to me. Way better to me than CR or FS. 3 pack blisters have better pull rates? Nah, man. Unless it's a ST cracked pack situation and the game is somewhat "fixed", I believe it's completely random. You either have luck on your side that moment you rip or you don't. I do believe sticking to one particular product will eventually get you some nice stuff. I stuck with the drugstore Mighty Mysterious tins for a long time and they yielded a lot of nice pulls over the span that I bought them.
I purchased 55 of the ES build and battle kits off over the brick back in the day for $18/per but they never filled my order smh. Still got 9 sealed booster box cases though and crap ton of etbs.
Man, I had 4 random Evo Skies packs sitting in a drawer and opened them up the other night. Nothing! I can’t believe I did that! 😔 I’ve got a few ETBs and some tins with more packs still in them. I will never open another Evo Cries pack! 😅 They are worth to much sealed.
I'm glad I opened up ES packs via the C22 mini tins for a fair price even this year. Ofc I wasn't able to pull anything nice but why spend 900/1k a box when it will net you 6/7 hits at most. And the likelihood one of those being alt art is slim. Rather use 1k to buy as many alt arts aside of the Moonbreon vmax and be happy with the V version. No fire fingers for me at both: ES and Fusion. But I had my fun cost with both sets at a low price. Prismatic might be the first set to challenge ES, however there is something to the clean alt art terra hat less art work which will make ES be sought after for many years to come.

Evolutions was once at 1k a box and the top hit (zard holo) was only worth like $40-50 raw, and evolving skies is 10x better than that set.
