She is the Queen; there is none better.
One of the greatest performances I have ever seen, she is incredible 💞
She conveys totally her complete surrender to emotions in the most beautifull way..excellent and exquisite.
Lara Fabian has a Sicilian mother and lived her first 6 years in Catania. She speaks perfectly Italian, French (her father is Belgian, and she studied from 8-18 years on the Royal Academy in Brussels singing, acting, piano and musical theory), English (she is now Canadian where she immigrated at 20) and Spanish and writes lyrics in these languages for herself and also other singers and performed songs in 12 different languages. She sang Caruso (by Lucio Dalla) and her rendition is by many considered better than Luciano Pavarotti's. If you want a song with her lyrics own in Italian chose "Adagio" (Albinoni) which she wrote in an Italian and an English version. She is a great star in francophone countries and Eastern Europe and former Soviet Union states and influenced many young singers, especially Dimash Kudaibergen.
i m french ....it s exactely merci beaucoup aurevoir
BEST Female vocalist ive ever heard in my life! Tears n goose bumps
You have to check out Lara signing Caruso. Lara is half Italian and speaks and sings in Italian perfectly.
I'm French and when I listen to the Diva Lara Fabian sing I burst into tears...they flow on their own. The texts, the musicality and especially the interpretation of Lara are incredible? She is moving and captivating, you would think she is telling her own life, just wonderful... she gives me goosebumps this song. One of the most beautiful songs of all time... A great artist, again BRAVO LARA
Matt, welcome to Lara Fabian's world. What a joy for me to suggest that you as an Italian listen to two extraordinary performances by Lara Fabian in Italian. CARUSO and PERDERE L'AMORE
A must see for all Italians!!
My goodness, Lara is a legend! She sings in French, English (Adagio, Broken vow), Italian (Caruso), Russian, and you need to check out « Ti Amo Cosi », a trio with Lara Fabian, Dimash, and Aida Garifullina; it is magnificent!
She’s one of the best in the business her speech quality in this performance is outstanding and you can see how emotionally drained she is at the end she went into character and lived it through this song. She does awesome cover of Caruso too sings it in Italian it’s brilliant
as an italian you have to hear her interpretation of "Casruso" by Lucio Dala, the same concert, her abilitiy to keep the storyline perfectly, give it her own touch and make you feel for this great tenor all over again, is just pure melancholy
Unbelievable performance
Lara Fabian, is Italian ! And her last name is pronounced just like the singer from the 60's "Fabian" She was born in Belgium, raised in Sicily by her mother and grandmother, then moved to Canada as a young woman in her early 20's. What you just witnessed, was a masterclass in performance art ! There is no one like Lara ! She has no peers. She is in a class all by herself !
You skipped a few things. Lara Fabian is not Italian! She was indeed born in Belgium (Etterbeek - Brussels). Her first name is Lara, and her real last name is Crockaert. A Belgian father and an Italian (Sicilian) mother. After her stay in Sicily (grand parents), she returned to Belgium (at the age of 5). From the age of 8 she trained at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels (until the age of 18). In 1988 she took part in the Eurovision song contest where she finished 4th. Celine Dion won that year with “Ne partez pas sans moi”. For both this meant the real start of their careers. 2 Years later, Lara went to Canada. And in 1996 she obtained Canadian citizenship. Since then she has a dual nationality: Belgian-Canadian
@@MJMC57 I was only giving the short version, no writing a book !
Just a fact: this wonderful performer is Diana Andkudinova’s favorite Mentor. Since, I found out this I’ve listened to her Performances. Great Reaction.
That is a once-in-a -lifetime performance. She does those types of dramatic songs like no one else can. She speaks four languages, I believe. Amazing voice and singing talent, of course, and an older man should not comment on Lara without taking the privilege of pointing out how she is so elegantly beautiful.
Cheers.
You should also check other songs from that same concert “From Lara with love”. Titles like Adagio, Caruso, Broken vow, Perdere l’amore, and You’re not from here. She will not disappoint.
You can try caruso by Lara. Have fun!
Лара! 😘😘😘😘😘
Не перестаю восхищаться искусством ее пения.
Браво!!!!!
Great singer, great performance, great reaction. Thank you! Please react to Lara Fabian - Caruso!
This was my gateway drug to her about 18 months ago. Yep, I became a late in life Superfans for the first time ever!
You MUST check out her covers of Caruso and Pedere L'Amore (both have English subtitle vids) from this same concert. Her first language is technically Italian, as her mama was Sicilian and Lara spent the first five years in Italy. She was so peeved when the family moved back to Belgium, she refused to speak anything but Italian for awhile. (She's fluent and writes in French, Italian, English and Spanish.)
This concert From Lara With Love is full of gems. Her English originals that she wrote from that concert include Adagio, Broken Vow, You're Not From Here. She's known both as a technical master and emotional storytelling master.
Great reaction. Very enjoyable. 😎
you are everywhere :D
@@lennert1nevejans Wherever Fabian is, there you will find me. 🤣
Thank you for not comparing her to Celine Dion 🙏🏻 like all other reactions 😅 pls. Try Caruso or Adagio from her , you will love it 🔥 she is on fireeee
I understand why exactly Lara is an idol for DIMASH
Hello.
I like your reactions
Lara Fabian is amazing. She is one of Dimash's idols. You have to see his version of Adagio (dimash sings it too). Carusso is beautiful.
Greetings from Uruguay
I will check it out. i actually have a reaction for adagio on my channel. please feel free to check it and subscribe. ))
@@mattcriscuolo1541 From this same concert From Lara With Love. All her fans agree that Fabian live is 100x better. Something about getting on stage unleashes her inner beast. 😆
Dimash. Igor Krutoy and Lara Fabian are intertwined with each other. Your love a song Igor Krutoy composed and Lara wrote the lyrics with Dimash singing it. Beautiful. Lara Fabian BORKEN VOW. So beautiful. If you like Italian song Olympico by Dimash and Igor and Passione. Two gyrations Italian songs. Love your reactions. Thank you 😊
And « Ti Amo Cosi’ˆ; Lara, Dimash and Aida, written by Igor!
"love is like a dream" was written 25 years ago by Igor for Pugacheva(?), performed with english text by Lara Fabian 15 and 10 years ago, and more recently in yet another version by Dimash. all these videos are on youtube, and all with Igor at the piano.
Similar applies to "adagio" which originates around 1700, then was transformed in a more modern version with lyrics, by Lara, and more recently also by Dimash. also all these versions (dozens of versions of the "original" by orchesta and/or piano) are available on youtube.
and "ti amo cosi" also exists on youtube in an older "original"(?) version, sung by Lara together with another soprano and a bariton who died a while ago (afaik, there is a picture of him shown during the performance on Igor's ice skating party.
a really deep rabbit hole if you search for other (older or original) versions of many of these songs, and sometimes surprising links between Igor, Lara and Dimash over and over again ... (just for fun: one of those videos has Igor singing decades ago, with Lara and with hair :-)
thank you for your reaction, please react to caruso cover by Lara. And welcome to her universe of poetry and belting.
More
Lara Fabian amazing on taime Asia, Kyrgyzstan, Russ. Always Lara Fabian ❤❤❤❤
of all the concerts that have ever taken place in the world, if I had only one trip in a time machine, to attend one of them, it would be this... "from Paris with love, Lara Fabian" that I would choose to go.
She’s not acting here, she’s channeling.
I just subscribed. Great reaction! I just discovered Lara Fabian a few months ago and listen to her every day. I saw that you have reacted to Dimash many times. There is a video of Dimash singing with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifullina called Ti Amo Cosi. They are all singing in an operatic style. Beautiful!
I love the mix of artists that you have reacted to and I’m looking forward to watching them
Ive been listening lara fabian for the last 20 years. She is simply amazing. Fabulous
great reaction. I'm italian too. Lara's mother is sicilian an she speaks italian too. You can react to Perdere L'amore ( Massimo Ranieri) Caruso ( Lucio Dalla) and Adagio ( Lara's original song written also in Italian)
Lara wrote Dimash's song (YOUR LOVE) composed by Igor krutoy
Dimash sang her song (Adagio ) she's his idol
OOOOOHhhh... You've got another thing coming. Caruso by this marvelous unique artist called Lara Fabian. Auguri! Bocca al lupo!
My the way, loved your reaction.
Every time she sings this, it's different, and wonderful in a new way. It's just beyond belief.
This is her most dramatic but she wisely sings it in new ways each time. Why be compared to yourself?
"Do not ask me who I am, and do not ask me to remain the same." - Michel Foucault
She also sings (in Italian) watch Caruso, Perdere Lamore a must for all Italians. Lara also kills it with Frank Sinatra singing New York...... You will be pleased. Enjoy!!
🤗👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤mi corazon explota de emocion cuando la escucho
amazing reaction,,,lara is one of the best
She is a splendid singer (Dimash's idol too)
wow! that's amazing! he's phenominal
Brilliant singer, sang it with full artistry.
You might want to immerse yourself with an Italian song Caruso sang by Lara Fabian
How funny !!! We arefollowing the same artists....Lara Fabian.Dimash,Morissette.Is that a coincidence or simply because this is real artistry ? Ciao from Rome
This is a masterclass. The song is devastating and Lara lives it. Thank you
Outstanding reaction. Really loved watching and hearing you. Are you from the Midwest in the US?
Great review
O mio Dio! Grazie è una delle mie preferite! Ascolta Caruso interpretata da Lara! Grazie!🤗..lei è anche italiana dunque...👌
I have never been so moved by a singer. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Nice reaction!! Since no one mentioned.. Je Suis Malade is a song written and sung in 1973 by Serge Lama and composed by Alice Dona, the same year he gave it to Iolanda Christina Gigliotti better known as Dalida to sing it. This is one of the compositions that even if you feel great, you get a shock and a pain in the soul. I believe noone could deliver the desperation and pain Serge Lama wanted to express when he wrote the song better than Lara Fabian. Lara doesn't afraid to expose her heart and soul on stage and has a unique way to become the song and convey emotions, every song is a journey, this is the reason why her fans love her so much. Everybody agree that her live performances are the best version of her songs. Thank you :)
Listen to her do the Yentl song , originally by Streisand...and Streisand thanked her by the way for making it sound as it should
My very favorite Lara Fabian song. Her voice is so beautiful and so passionate! Thanks - really appreciated your reaction.
Great reaction, thanks. Try Caruso by Lara fabian, as you're italian i think you'll appreciate.
BEAUTIFUL 😭💕
I was there when they recorded that video in 1999. T am 85 years old now and when I look at this video again, it takes me back 22 years to that night, and I get the same emotions back again. You never forget such an experience.
Lucky you!
Now you know why Dimash likes and respects her. I’m glad he got to sing with her. She’s incredible
You should react to Je Taime from Paris Live 2001. Broken Vow is a great a song and she wrote it.
Absolutely stunning !
I love Lara Fabian!!
I encourage you to listen to her cover of Ranieri's "Perdere l'Amore"....!
Our queen lara from belgium!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm a fan since 25 years, you must try her songs "tout" and also "broken vow" and "caruso" and "adagio"
Lara Fabián ❤️❤️❤️🤟💞❤️ reaction:
-Adagio
-Carusso
She's certainly impressive here. Her mother is Sicilian. I see you've already been directed to the trio 'Ti Cosi Amo' with Aida Garafulina and Dimash (who idolizes her, they both work with Igor Krutoy).
Check out 'Broken Vow' and also 'Je t'ame' (Live in Paris 2001 is a memorable event. It's extremely moving, but not for the reasons you might think).
Matt!! What an outro! I'll have to quote you on that now :P Ill sub to hear it again ;) Nice show, Lara is a real Femme Fatale!
The song is amazing too. Created by Serge Lama in the 70ies... check his version. He deserves it also.

Glad you discovered Lara, and this performance in particular. Truly is one of the most amazing performances ever. One nuance you may have missed (you had your eyse closed) is the cry at 2:24 where she had the mic far away from her mouth. She's just SPECIAL!
3:48 listen closely.. The despair is palpable as she sings "malade".... she is literally weeping at the beginning of the phrase.
6:14 look at her face! Fabian literally _lives_ this song as she's singing it... it doesn't matter that one cannot understand the language... she effortlessly communicates what this song is about.
Matt as you are Italian , you have to see Lara singing great ,,Caruso'' by Lucio Dalla
And also " perdere l'amore "...
🤣 had to laugh when you were moving around and explained that you wanted to show the subtitles😄 i was like: dude....I want to see your reaction. Anyway, you got some nice videos up. Cool channel👍
*Humm, you Italian. Then watch Lara sing Caruso. You will be blown away. She is 1/2 Italian, from mother, having being born in Belgium, moved to Italy / Belgium, followed by Canada to further her singing passion. In addition, can fluently sing in French, Italian, English as well as Russian etc. etc. etc. She speaks MANY languages, and many fluently.*

Hay varios temas de Lara que ha interpretado Dimash y ya cantaron juntos, ella es fenomenal, me transmite mucho
if you are italian you have to do reaction to her song CARUSO
Me laissant seul avec mon désespoir
Je suis malade
Complètement malade
J'arrive on ne sait jamais quand
Tu pars on ne sait jamais où
Et ça va faire bientôt deux ans
Que tu t'en fous
Comme à un rocher
Comme à un péché
Je suis accroché à toi
Je suis fatiguée, je suis épuisée
De faire semblant d'être heureuse
Quand ils sont là
Je bois toutes les nuits
Et tous les whiskys
Pour moi ont le même goût
Et tous les bateaux
Portent…
Encore une belle réaction👍💕
👋 de Marseille🌞 France🇨🇵🇨🇵
Merci Matt pour ce petit moment d'émotions
Lara Fabian, Aida Garifulina, Dimash Qudaibergen " Te amo cosi"
Her mother is Italian. Please react to Caruso. Another masterclass
You must react to Lara's cover of Perdere L'Amore
Thank you for sharing !♡
Two Marcelito Pomoy songs you need to react to are "Perfect" from his concert in Stockton CA as well as the hymn "What a Beautiful Name" -- both so good!!
Hi.. You are Italian so you must see Mrs Lara Fabian
cover of Caruso from Lucio Dalla, or Perdere l'amore. Greetings from Portugal.
I'll check it out!
@Lara The Ring Fabian Tritto. I should have saved myself typing and read your comment first. 😆
(Performances from this same concert From Lara With Love.)
Thanks!!
Or this is a playback or you choose the wrong version . Cause the sound is not coordinated with her lips .
@@arnaldotanta3630 Learning to be a troll? Still look an amateur but you will get there. with work and seeing how it's done with the best trools in RUclips. Don't loose hope.
the best performance of the world never some body sing like that
More Lara Fabian please 😊
Matt,
If, as you mentioned in your 1st-time-video with Laura Fabien, you like emotionally gripping songs in French, You might like lending an ear to Jacques Brel singing "Ne Me Quitte Pas". The song was Brel's own. However, it was translated into English and sung by, among others, Frank Sinatra, Brenda Lee ... Still, Brel's live performance is incomparable. Give it a try! There should be a version with Eng. Subtitles somewhere on RUclips.
Steve
Ever heard of Jaques Brel? Also sang this song. A real topper from him is "Ne me quite pas". Love the love, keep it up!
If you like Italian, you need to listen to her version of Caruso. It’s amazing. Lara is one of the best artists of our time and I’m not just saying this because she’s from Belgium and so am I , Dimash is a huge fan of hers and sings some of her songs. He also sings the song Ti amo cosi with her and an opera singer called Aida.
Caruso a must listen to
Thanks for reaction.
Pls react Broken Vow by Lara Fabian
😍😍
PLEASE react to Lara, Dimash and Aida singing "Ti Amo Cosi" at Maestro Igor Krutoy Tribute
Man, you got taste.

Dimash hizo una colaboración con Lara Fabián.....dimash es un fans de Lara Fabián y su sueño era cantar con ella
You NEED to look up the Lara Fabian and Dimash duets! They are amazing together!!!
The vibrations of music is Universal unites the setimental humans with still a heart in them. :)
Seeing that you're a saxophone player, I'm sure you know of
Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street, if not give it a listen you may enjoy it. Take care.
Thank you 👍🇷🇺❤️❤️❤️
Please listen Lara and Johnny Halliday, it’s just awesome!
Now you see why Lara Fabian is Dimash's idol.
Lara's late mom is Sicilian, by the way. She speaks Italian, French, English...and many more.
React to perdere L'amore.. She's unique
Great reaction, but people watching reactors usually know the artist and the song already. Just put a link to the original video in the description, that way if they want to watch the original, they can just use it.
ok. Thanks! will do. ))
