Funny headline which Logitech already announced some months ago.
Unfortunately they stuggle a lot with gettin their headsets certified without a dongle when talking to MS.

Yes this is true I’ve spoken with Logitech and they have stated it’s taking longer than expected but it should be getting certified in the next few months. Actually on this video I had the zone 305 connected to Bluetooth only and the call answer/end worked on teams for me even though it’s not certified yet.
Regardless send us an email info@headsetadvisor.com if you want to be updated with this.

I want ANC for the microphone. ANC for the speakers is okay, but how I sound to the other parties is much more important.

Yes good point many people look for that as well you can check out this video: ruclips.net/video/l1w9SFHDXJo/видео.htmlsi=g-RudEpTsnWLSdlD
Or if you want to solve it with software we launched a noise cancelling app called neep neep.com it’s for mic noise cancelling works on just about any headset or mic.

Thank you for the video! We are working with other platforms (Zoom, etc) to support NBT (plug and play, no sw requirement). HOT off the press.....Google actually just certified our headsets for NBT with Google Meet, announcement coming soon!

Good point Kate! A world without the need for an extra usb dongle will be great.

Another reason to dump the dongle is that the dongles frequently burn out, and then the headset is useless until you get another one.

Hey, some of those "dongles" were adapters.
    Thanks for another great video!!!

And does any of this stuff work on macOS?

As of right now no but I’m sure it will be in the future. As far as I know you’d need a headset with a usb dongle to get it to work.

Teams only, windows only, not finding a way to get a better way to do it than the headset HID... Disappointing

I do not much care about those extra functions, I actually not anyhow much use them, but Audio Quality with BT only now is just bad, especially for Microphone... if NBT resolves also this, count me in (from video it really does not seem like it is good). laptop reqs are joke TBH, W11, they just do not want to add this function to W10 obviously, but ok, Intel processor? complete nonsense, no reason, only Bluetooth chip makes sense to need to support such function

Got it. From my tests the audio quality is the same from using the Logitech dongle to being paired directly as far as speaker sound quality and microphone performance.
Often times over bluetooth what happens is when your mic is turned on it changes the speaker performance to telephony speaker quality that doesn't sound good for music so that may be a bit of what your experiencing.
They are expanding from Intel to AMD and others i'm sure in the near future but this is the initial requirement.
The performance of microphone noise cancellation is limited with all headsets but this was tested without any of the additional AI noise cancelling features built into apps like Zoom/Teams which would improve the performance.
