That has got to be the quietest combine I've ever heard running. Thought for a minute there it was electric powered. Cab seemed quiet as well which is a plus in my book. It's nice to see something other than green or red in the field. I've always liked the Gleaner combines and thought they offered a better value for the money spent. JMHO.
They say the Gleaner has the least amount of loss than any other brand and there is a company near me who does something to them to make them even better but it's a secret design
There is something to be said about loyalty. The reason any particular farm has great success is due to loyalty. They value the equipment, properly maintain it and, in return the equipment takes care of them. Sure, all brands have put out less than desirable equipment. In the end its about pride of ownership. This video proves it. Great job showing us this full on AGCO farm.
Looks like they take really good care of their equipment. Looked like they had the combine dialed in really well to see the corn filling the grain tank. Thanks for the ride along. Stay safe.
This one of the Best videos of AGCO Brands i have seen this yr. Gleaner & White dont get any Better then this. I love the Gleaner S-68 & The White Tractors.
The Gleaners really are a simple machine. I like the hillside capability without having to go to the complex self leveling shoe. Lighter weight makes a lot of sense too. Simpler is always better.
Seeing this video brings back memories of the first non articulated 4 wheel drive my grandfather bought in my lifetime of which was a 185 white I spent many springs leaning against the side of the cab while riding along during spring planting will never forget those memories amazing machines and amazing video
Great great video, it seems if AGCO got the equipment to do the job very well, thanks for all the info on the Gleaner, I never seen one in our country and it seems to be something special
That Gleaner looked to be doing a Fantastic job! How long was that field? Looked to go on forever. That 6175 White sounded amazing. Glad to see they take good are of their equipment
My grandfather farmed in Saskatchewan Canada and the only tractor I remember him having was a white it did everything from tillage to running the pull type combine
After seeing so many corn harvest videos this year where it seems a large persentage of the corn has been knocked down and or low yield because of so much rain or tractors just buried in mud its really nice to see corn the way its supposed to look. Looks like they got a real good yield this year also
Great video! I would like to offer a correction. AGCO moved the White tractor from Coldwater, Ohio to Independence, Missouri about a year before the 6000 series went into production. The 6175 would have been built right along side Gleaner combines of the time.
WHITE-New Idea built the original Work Horse tractors 125-195 and the Deutz-Allis 9100 series in Cold Water. In 1991 AGCO bought White tractors from White-New Idea and moved the Work Horse/9100 tractors to the Gleaner plant in Independence, MO. White-New Idea continued to build hay tools and corn planters in Coldwater. White-New Idea implements were their own company. In 1993 AGCO acquired White-New Idea and the Coldwater factory. The new AGCO-White 6100 and AGCO-Allis 9600 tractors moved from Missouri to Ohio after AGCO bought Coldwater. In 1999 AGCO closed Coldwater and high horse power tractor production moved to France in 2000. .
I respectfully disagree with that. I went to the dealer product introductions in 92 and 93, and part of the 93 show was a factory tour at Independence. They were making 6000 series tractors at that time. I have pictures from the product intro meeting, but they wouldn't let me take the camera in the factory. For further proof, I looked up Agco's website from 1997 on the internet archive site, and in April of 1997 they show Agco White tractors being built in Independence, Missouri. I'll post a link in another comment, because RUclips will probably mark it as spam. The history as I know it, the 6000 series production stayed in Independence until they were replaced by 8000 series that used Massey Ferguson drive train with a Cummins engine, built in the Beauvais, France. Smaller Whites were either built in Coventry, England or in Italy by SLH. When Agco bought the McConnell tractor and put the AGCO Star tractors on the market, they built those in the Coldwater, Ohio facility until it was closed.
Silver Power, That White tractor sounded great. Like a MM. The class system on combines, when acquiring one is it based on crop acreage ? Farmer take great care of his machinery. BTP Best on utube🚜👍
Are you talking about it being Oliver green yeah we redid that tractor so it is Oliver green it is not at all like it was when it rolled of the assembly line there is a bigger engine in it and all kinds of different additions to it
I love Your channel! Especially the classics! On our farm in the '70s ,and We had a Minneapolis Moline model U Gas, a M5 and a 602. One question? Did the old Gleaners when owed by Allis Chalmers have galvanized outer sheet metal, or am I just dreaming? Also was White tractors once Cockshutt?
I am always amazed at how high the center of gravity on the grain trailers are. I know it is necessary so they can be unloaded at the bins but with that much weight so high up I would be worried every time I went across any change of elevation.
It is a Minneapolis-Moline G-1355. I show it at the end of the video. The G-1355 has a 2255 rear end. They were both built at the Oliver Factory in Charles City, Ia.
I had little footage from this stop. It was raining the whole time and got dark. I need several angles and passes to get enough video to talk over on specs. I did release a 6175 and 185 spec video this year. They are both linked in the end screen of this video.
I wish AGCO would not have killed the White tractor line and the Orange Allis line of tractors even if they just colored the Challengers silver and Orange. I sure it would not have been cost effective.
Will AGCO be deleting any of their combine lines? They currently run what Gleaner, Ideal Fendt, Massy and Challenger? Or should I ask, is the introduction of Ideal Fendt to North America going to impact production of any of their lines?

I love that little interview inside the combine, it makes us feel like we are harvesting the corn.
Nice looking White's somebody is taking good care of them.
This farm liked their AGCO tractors.
Scruffy 61 I keep them in the garage. Thanks for watching. Let me work let me live
Looks like they take really good care of their equipment. Looked like they had the combine dialed in really well to see the corn filling the grain tank. Thanks for the ride along. Stay safe.
I love the White/Agco equipment. Looks like their equipment is well maintained.
It’s a nice farm to visit. They like AGCo.

😁👍👍. This is a nice AGCO farm. I enjoy visiting it a couple of times each year.
@@bigtractorpower , I would love to see their farm. I enjoy your visit with them each fall.
So cool seeing all of those silver tractors in the same field.
They definitely have good taste when it comes to equipment that was pretty cool video
Nice video Jason. Those 185 and 195 tractors are bout the best white ever built
I think the old 2-185 looked the best. Great video. Thanks
The Gleaners really are a simple machine. I like the hillside capability without having to go to the complex self leveling shoe. Lighter weight makes a lot of sense too. Simpler is always better.
They are well built. I hope to get to film one on a hillside at some point.

Love these other brands of equipment!
I like all brands and try to feature them all.
That ol' Moline looks pretty snazzy sitting over by the truck.
Yes that is a G-1355. I show it pulling out at the very end of the video.
@@bigtractorpower looks great loved it
Nice looking White’s! The first cab tractor we got when I was a kid was a white 2-85
Very cool.

Amazing tractor
Gleaner is a top combine.
It is. They do a nice job.
My grandfather farmed in Saskatchewan Canada and the only tractor I remember him having was a white it did everything from tillage to running the pull type combine
Thanks for another great video
That was a great video it was good to see some of that silver machinery Working away in the field
Thank you for watching.

Nice iron
As usual, a great video !!!
Thank you for watching
The ‘19 model heads look really cool. I seen a ‘19 12 row labeled as a fendt at Kuhns Equipment earlier this year.
The Command heads are nice. The Ideal uses the same header. The Ideal has a 16 row Command head option.
Spotted an old cabover too!!
Yes it is a Kenworth. I filmed it pulling out after dark in the rain. I will find a place to use that clip some time.
The grain is really clean , the combine doing a great job
It does a nice job. I forgot to include the clip I filmed showing it had no lost corn on the field.
Silver Power, That White tractor sounded great. Like a MM. The class system on combines, when acquiring one is it based on crop acreage ? Farmer take great care of his machinery. BTP Best on utube🚜👍
Thank you Mark. Class size is based on horsepower of the combine.
Sounds quieter than my S670 JD and has a much larger grain tank and mine is a class 7!
The S68 is a good sized machine for class 6.
What planter they use? Themes some nice looking rows of corn 🌾
Good question. It is a White 9212 VE. I talk to the farmer about the planter mid way through this video.
Yes I done asked, then saw where you asked. I said to myself watch all be four asking things the rows were so clean looking.
What camera you use?
Hi jason
Hi
Great stream nice equipment and I.love IOWA
We got one of them white 185s but ours is Oliver green
Wow there were only two of those made. That would be an awesome tractor to see. Could you email me at contact@bigtractorpower.com ?
Are you talking about it being Oliver green yeah we redid that tractor so it is Oliver green it is not at all like it was when it rolled of the assembly line there is a bigger engine in it and all kinds of different additions to it
The ol galvanized pheasant feeder
I like the tried and true oldie,,,nothing cleaner than a gleaner
@@johnallen5996 I suppose the grain that actually does make it into the hopper and not out the back is pretty clean.......
Clean engine solutions

White started in early 70s of moline, oliver and cockshutt.
Yes, gleaners always have had galvanized sheet metal.
Thanks again, BTP. Does this Gleaner not have auto steer?
Looks like a good corn crop, what is the bushels per acre and is that operator using auto steer or is he doing it the old school way
Old school way. I think it was around 220.
How many bushels to acre?
I am always amazed at how high the center of gravity on the grain trailers are. I know it is necessary so they can be unloaded at the bins but with that much weight so high up I would be worried every time I went across any change of elevation.
Great silver fleet vid, enjoy interview, very interesting with White planter👍what combine did this farm have before S68?
Was that a 2255 on the other gravity wagon
It is a Minneapolis-Moline G-1355. I show it at the end of the video. The G-1355 has a 2255 rear end. They were both built at the Oliver Factory in Charles City, Ia.
I love ih but I like all your videos what ever the brand is
I actually prefer the cart tractor as a white (silver) than a Lamborghini (cream white)
👍👍
yesssirrrrr 🥳🥳
Curious why we didn't hear you mention pricing structure on these Whites when new.
I had little footage from this stop. It was raining the whole time and got dark. I need several angles and passes to get enough video to talk over on specs. I did release a 6175 and 185 spec video this year. They are both linked in the end screen of this video.
Did I see a MM on that other wagon?
Yes a G-1355
What city is this farm near?
Not far from Dyersville.
You had me at cockshutt.
You can’t blame theme look at price of knew tractors half million plus
This farm likes Moline and WFE. They would not have it any other way.
I wish AGCO would not have killed the White tractor line and the Orange Allis line of tractors even if they just colored the Challengers silver and Orange. I sure it would not have been cost effective.

I've always heard bad things about theses tractors, family hates em. Gleaner is good though
The WFE and AGCO tractors have always seemed reliable to me. The ones I have filmed the owners have really liked. It’s hard to beat a Gleaner.
@@bigtractorpower ya I'm just going off of what I've herd, though I would still like to try out a white tractor.
