"Home"
Where you find peace in the Heart and Soul❤
I was only there for a few months in 93. I told everyone back in Texas that the Palmas was a little closer to heaven than Texas was!
Perhaps someday I'll have the means to call it home!
That beautiful there 😍
My family and I lived there for 7 months in the Monte Sol community when I worked a project for the company Schering Las Piedras from 2007-2008. This place is truly special and mainly suited for affluent families. Highly recommended.
Palmas is incredible. So is how you were able to capture what makes Palmas special!
I miss home soo much. I have seen you guys for a while now and I hope when I visit in April I can say Hi. Thx for this... made me cry a bit.
I watched this great video 3,000 times, and I want to go HOME, to Palmas!
What beautiful Island and what great to live in Palmas de el mar 🇵🇷 🍹🌴🌞🏊
The best place i lived in Puerto Rico as a child has always been either Guaynabo, San Juan, Aguas Buenas, but arguably, my favorite place was Cabo Rojo
Bayamon, I grew up in Magnolia Gardens and went to La High del pueblo (Agustin Stahl) and till the day it is the best place I have lived. I wish I could go back. Mi Tierra del Encanto.
Really love this video and enjoyed being a part of it!!! WE LOVE PALMAS DEL MAR!
Well done! Great job showing off our beautiful community.
I from New York. But my parents are from Puerto Rico. i use to work there from 1995 to 1998. And while I work there i use to love working there at the beach. I was a Beach Attendant. I came back to new new york and I always said. If I was to ever make it in N.Y. I will be going back to Puerto Rico and living in Palmas del Mar That will be my ultimate dream.
Love it! Is 35min from my house and I enjoy the place specially La Pescadería 😊
AMAZING VIDEO.PUERTO RICO IS A BEAUTIFUL ISLAND IN THE CARIBBEAN .

@Hyper_Zexd Puerto Rico Sucks 🇵🇷
Damn this video made me want to move there! 🤔
We’ve lived all over now and can confirm there’s no perfect place. But Palmas is close to my version of perfect. You have to build and create what you want; however, it doesn’t hurt to have a wonderful community and amazing surroundings to do it in. Whether luck is happenstance, or created, I don’t know what we did to get to live here. I remain grateful. Thank you to the skill-filled and talented #FStoppers Team for putting this together. You captured the soul of the magical Palmas Del Mar.
Hi Jennifer! My husband and I are in the early stages of deciding about making the big move, and we'd like to see the communities. Would we have to get a realtor even if we are only wanting to see the communities first since all of the homes are within gated sections?
I think that you’ll see more if you have a realtor. We had amazing realtors, one who happens to be speaking quite a bit in this video.
There other placer in Puerto rico with beautiful houses like palmas...and..beautiful views I live in san sebastian..where they have houses like that...moca is another place the has home like this and is not a gated community..is a beautiful city
Hi...
What is the name of the place in Moca?
Looks like the town is close enough to the coast.
@@Dangic23 Moca is a village of ignorant peasants who live off agriculture. They don't have universities, shopping centers, or even a Steak House. The only places you can live in Puerto Rico away from the metropolitan area are Cabo Rojo, Ramey Base and Ponce with controlled access. Puerto Rico is a place of high crime, terrible services and worse roads, where you find chronic heroin addicts at every stoplight.

HELLO beautiful Queen
My Grandparents move back to PR when I was a kid and lived in Humacao (The municipality that Palmas is located in), but decided to come back to the States to be close to family. This is definitely where I'd buy when I decide to move or maybe just for a vacation home.
Been there and definitely a place to live. The Puerto Rican people are great. Unfortunately, this is left out. You feel welcome because of the local people.

PR’s 100x better.
Let’s be realistic, the regular puertorican can’t afford a beautiful place like this, a lot money you need to have that kind of lifestyle. But is beautiful my Puerto Rico 😍😍😍😍
I don't know what the average Puerto Rican can afford but the majority of homes here are owned by local Puerto Ricans. You can buy a 2 bedroom condo right by the beach for about $200k which is pretty reasonable IMO. -P
Fstoppers hey you think that making 7.25 an hr, which is regular paid in Puerto Rico, is enough to buy a condo for 200k?. I don’t know in what country you live. But to make that kind of money you need to have maybe a governor position... my nice work for a private company from USA, have a master degree in finance, and doesn’t make to even 70k a year... so do your numbers... hope you can have that kind of nice life in my country, enjoy when you can....
@@ursinamoskwa8962
Not everybody in the island lives of minimum salary wage. Many run their own small businesses.
What kills it for the average islander specially local entrepreneurs is the absurd number of licenses and permits people need to start or worst re start a business after a natural disaster.
Ursina Moskwa the poor people makes $7.25 but two professionals working in good jobs or having a business or Self Employment like: Insurance Broker, Lawyer, Doctor, CPA etc makes more than $200K a year. If you have that in your mind is because you have a poor mentality and bank account.
@@francisaparicio2765 that doesn't matter the average puerto rican there even if thier not poor probably wont be able to afford a 200k house.
This is definitely the place that inspires😍😍
Love your videos guys, keep it up!

Three months ago I went to Ritz Carlton, Dorado and was so impressed with their plants and park. I was trying to compare Dorado and Palmas and I wasn't sure what is prettier. Then we went again to Dorado this February 2020. Again, the plants in Dorado are amazing. Never the less when we came back to Palmas I had to admit that Palmas IMHO is such a beautiful and superior place because it's a beautiful town, not a hotel with a park.
Vadim Daskal having been to both as well, I feel like Dorado Beach East is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been to. However, much of DBE doesn’t have a great view of the ocean at all unless you own/rent a beach front property. -P

Si pero solamente buscan sitios así, segregados de comunidades predominantemente puertorriqueñas

For some reason I feel like I want to go.
Don’t we don’t want you in the island.
My beautiful island ❤
I owns a home close (not Palmas) still when we want to have a relax time we just go there. It’s not the standard living of the rest of PR but, still a fraction of what you will pay for a place in Ca. Or NYC without the beauty of Palmas.
will you pls elaborate on what you mean by 'not the standard of living of the rest of PR'? I am considering Palmas and would love feedback - thanks!
@@maiomai8277 Palmas del Mar is the second highest cost of living resort in Puerto Rico just behind Dorado. The average income in Palmas Del Mar is above $90,000.00(the average).
The average income in Puerto Rico is a little more than $21,000.00.
If you can afford it (probably yes) nothing wrong with that.
We love it there but, we decided to own a nice house in a close gated community but much less expensive.
@@ericpizarro3084 thank you for the honest response. May I inquire whether there are non Spanish speaking folks in your community? El Mar 🌊❤️🇵🇷
This area is too Americanized for me personally. I rather live in the far west. Aguadilla, Aguada, Isabella are just as beautiful, without that United States feel to it.
My main concerns were always 1) reliable power and water, 2) reliable internet, 3) a home that was reasonably priced that had enough space for a photo studio, 4) lots of activities so I wouldn't get bored, and 5) a good community to actually feel fulfilled in my day to day life. Oh and 6) would be safety which I def feel here. I'm not sure every other part of the island would check off all these buckets but many of them excel in #4. -P
@@FStoppers I hear that and respect it. But me personally I own 2 houses in Aguadilla that were under $80k each. I also have an electric 400 gallon water tank equipped that will continue to provide water through all my water pipes including the toilet, shower even when the water is gone. a generator in my basement for power. My internet works perfectly fine as well. I'm a Hurricane Maria survivor. I never had to leave the island for me resource. That area is waaay too expensive for me personally.
@@FStoppers and of course lastly, no Americanized feel where I live. Does not remind me of Florida on the west.
well ameeica own the island so ofcouse alot of them would come here.
it is way to americanized for me to doesn't even look like an island
Basically an ad for widening the class gap, but this chunk of Earth IS beautiful.

Gary Jahman with Amsterdam being one of my all time favorite cities in the world, the non stop summer weather of Puerto Rico makes me want to hop on a flight to Schiphol! -P
Be sure to go outside of hurricane season.
Uhh, hurricanes? Puerto Rico has been hammered by them.
I love the Netherlands!

Come to Puerto Rico!
Mac McMillen not really, Maria was bad and maybe a few more in the last 30 years. It’s not as bad as people make it out to be. Like I said, most hurricanes become super storms well after they pass Puerto Rico. -P
You guys did an awesome job on the video. No wonder why you moved down there - beautiful place.

Ok, I'm sold!
Awesome video!! Who else wants to buy at Palmas ?
Great production quality on the deliverable.
Its a different world "living" on any Island. Obvious things that can easily be taken for granted include (to name a few): electricity, water, health care, law enforcement as well as seasonal weather patterns. Consider those before deciding to "live" on any island permanently. For a vacation the USVI is a great and easy destination to experience and explore.
Gratefully.
Strangely enough, I feel like the weather in Puerto Rico is more predictable than anywhere I've lived before. There are essentially two seasons, wet in the summer and dry in the winter. The only real difference between the two is the summer is about 10 degrees hotter and there is no wind at all. In the winter, it is cooler and the wind picks up (which is good for kiteboarding but bad for boating). Of course there are hurricanes in the summer/fall but as I've said before, most storms become hurricanes after Puerto Rico and I was much more affected by hurricanes when living in South Carolina and the Panhandle area of Florida.
The reason I say the weather is more predictable here is that every single day it is beautiful with warm weather and then it rains 1-6 times a day for 10 mins max. Every where else I lived, it could be overcast and rainy for days, and then beautiful for days with no rain, and then tornadoes, and then snow, and the ocean would be warm half the year and then freezing the other half. Puerto Rico does feel more consistent but I will say, lacking the seasons does take it's toll on me in that I get bored with 70-80 degrees every single day. -P
@@FStoppers Indeed, our family lived in St. Croix for most of my childhood (10+ years) and loved every minute of it, including the beautiful weather. We lived oceanfront on the Northwest side of the island "Countryside". Always the BEST sunsets on the West side!
Every region has it's natural risks and vulnerabilities, agreed. California comes with it's fair share of faults including: droughts, fires, floods, mudslides, earthquakes and the toxic "political climate" that has lead many to abandon this once great State for more affordable and rational destinations. But hey that's a different topic. Maybe it is time to move back to the USVI :)
Living on an island quickly teaches one how to be prepared, grateful and conservative in the use of all things. These lessons I've honored and cherished all my life. From my "limiited" experience conservation becomes essential and the "take it for granted entitlements" quickly abandoned in order to conform and reduce wasteful habits. If you live on an island you live by a different set of practical rules.
As a family we would always be prepared with plumbers candles, lighters, matches, kerosene lamps, batteries, a gasoline generator, flashlights, full cistern, working well pumps, medical kit, bleach, two way radios, 55 gallon drums for rain water collection, machetes and a host of other survival ready contingencies. Thankfully we seldom ever needed to exercise many of these items. Good advice not matter your station, staying prepared in any environment is always a good idea.
"Hurricane Parties" is what they were called in the mid to late 60s and 70s. That 4-12 hour lock down period in someones cinder block house was the safe haven until the storm passed and things settled down.
Good times! I miss the beauty of it all and all the lessons learned. It's a wonderful place to call "home" and also visit. Puerto Rico wears the crown for one of the richest experiences in the Caribbean region. Gratefully.
Just perfect! Does anyone know the name of the music/song used on this video ?
My God is that what you got out of this video?
