Just in case you don’t know, one of their other projects (Sunset Paradise) is directly connected to the story of their main channel, SMG4. Their first series, Meta Runner, is slightly connected through Easter eggs and references (the main character is also an SMG4 character, but not the same person unlike Sunset Paradise), so you can get by fine by watching that on its own.
You make review laim first channel know as scary story time with laim it is creepypasta channel but he a lot of series like black dog , parasite and more
I'd like to see you go into his old channel SSTWL, specifically his "Design" audio series as a lot of the elements, concepts and some lore for Murder Drones are borrowed from it, especially the concept for AbsoluteSolver and the power it's grants it's hosts
If you're looking for a fun web series, I would highly recommend Epithet Erased. It's one of my favourites despite its very limited animation, and though its first episode is its weakest point, it's so worth it to get to the genuinely heartwarming character moments and jokes.
My personal record is watching the pilot episode twice a day, every day, from a week after its release to mid September. I have watched the pilot episode exactly 681 times.
13:55 Personally, I find that the "V, you kinda suck." scene practically confirmed to me that N has very quickly lost his crush on V after getting to know her better. Her rewritten Murder Drone psycho personality is a complete turnoff for him (and I say this because her demeanor is completely different in the Mansion flashback, and makes me think her personality was altered when she was turned into a Disassembly Drone. And it's pretty strongly implied that N has carried his crush on V over from this previous iteration). Also, V acknowledged N's comment that she sucks saying 'Yeah, I'm not doing okay." This implies she's aware that her personality core is misbehaving, likely as a result of tampering by humans. This is also why I think N asking her why she isn't worried about not knowing what they even are actually impacted her. And why after that, she begins showing genuine concern for N and even starts trying to bargain with him not to continue investigating with Uzi on the matter (even going as far as trying to appeal to his now former crush on her. This also means she noticed N having a crush on her and doesn't mind, which, yay for past N). It's almost like she does remember Tessa and the humans, and not fondly at that, and for a few moments, her original personality kicked in, along with a deeply ingrained fear of humans. It's thanks to N's flashback that I didn't find the state of N and V's dynamic confusing in any way. It is kind of weird that the characters are significantly more emotionally intelligent after the pilot. Before, they had high emotional and trope awareness, but weren't able to do anything with that awareness, which made the writing come across weird and kinda goofy when it probably didn't mean to be. I imagine Liam has since received guidance from other writers to help flesh out the characters and make them more believable.
Teens be horny. If the lad just discovered what sex is, I wouldn't be surprised at all. If they're anything like I was, they're likely gonna cringe when they come back to this comment of theirs 10 years later. I don't judge, it's a natural part of life.
Assuming Doll is alive I think she will be a threat for a while but I hope Uzi's team can make peace with Doll and have her join the team eventually if and when that happens Doll could teach Uzi how to use her Absolute Solver powers.
19:47 I find Lizzie's reasoning to be even more simplistic than Doll's. Lizzie has zero morals. Or rather, her moral compass is comprised _exclusively_ of hotness. Beauty makes right. She was about to let the Absolute Solver in because the hologram it made of Lizzie herself was "gorgeous", after all (talk about dumb and narcissist). And her line "On second thought, you're way hotter than Doll. Run, idiot!" implies she was only helping Doll with her plan because she saw her hot, too. I find her character extremely scary. It's an extreme, almost suicidal, "everything wrong with" version of judging by appearances. She has no sense of self-preservation, and this trait of blindly trusting lookers pretty much always leads her astray, to the point that where I'd call her a deconstruction of the 'queen B' trope. Not because of anything she says or does, but because the environment is so incompatible with her it's a miracle she didn't self-destruct several times over. And she's incapable of learning from her mistakes to boot, because her vanity is the only thing she's been shown to have for her personality so far. Dumb people are the most dangerous, because they harm other people and gain nothing, or even harm themselves as well from it.
15:13 I think the reason N wasnt as obsessed with protecting V is because after episode 2, N has probably realized that Murder Drones dont need much protection and can survive from half of their bodies getting vaporized. So he's less worried about V and more on Uzi since She cant really Regenerate
I think Ive watched it about 5 times lol Also I think N may be changing his views towards V since Uzi may have given him a better morale compass, but I do agree it did feel a bit rushed.
The way they handled this episode reminded me a lot of their other show meta runner, it had its funny moments yes but it was fast paced and intense while also keeping the character interactions funny, this is by far my favourite episode of the 3 and I am looking forward to its next episode!
I wouldn't say that Episode 3 is my favourite episode, but it was absolutely the most fun. I personally prefer episode 2 purely because AbsoluteSolver J was such a cool concept and executed really well. It was really refreshing to see robots used for horror in such a creative way that wasn't just 'oh no AI rise up technology bad', and coming down to personal preference I just enjoy episode 2 more. That being said, episode 3 is such a joy to watch and it never gets old.
On the part of J making a return, we have to think this logically: J is a robot. A robot can't truly die like a human as the artificial intelligence piloting the body can always be backed up into another body. Also: Glados (that's what I'm calling the spooky robo crab thing from episode 2, you can't change my mind) said that J wasn't there. Hinting at the fact that J was somewhere else at the time, meaning she wasn't actually dead. Because she's a robot. If the repair program fails at repairing the body, then it is a good idea to just backup the ai into a cloud of sorts so that they don't have to worry about programming a new murder drone. Basic program stuff that most people don't think about, and a perfect way to understand the world of murder drones.
I resonate with Uzi simply because of that fact that I have like 2 friends and one of them I am friends with souly because we were on the same bus and went to the same scout troop. I am, however, not an outcast in school. I am popular in one class because I stole a lot of muffins from the school and earned the nickname "Muffin man"
I'm REALLY excited about episode 4 It has been hinted to be this horror episode, (and I love horror!) so I'm REALLY REALLY, REAAAALLLY EXCITED ABOUT IT (I even started running around my room at one point thinking about what might happen in it)
9:50 I think it's _supposed_ to come across as quick and forced, to show not only how shallow Lizzie is but also how V was manipulating her. 20:35 _HAhahahahaha_ 24:20 Khan has the social sway of being the guy who saved everyone with the doors. Either they felt indebted to him, or they figured they could parade Uzi around and use that as a way to brag about being close to Khan. Alternatively, Uzi herself is such a non-person in their class setting that they figured she was an easy target for Doll to murder with minimal consequences, supported by "no one's gonna notice _she's_ missing".
I only ever noticed that part where Uzi eats the oil off her finger during my most recent rewatch. And after knowing what happens in episode 4... Whoo boy... That's cool.
I like the show because of the action and horror that it has. Just saying that the best part has to be Uzi fighting Doll. The fast pace action scenes are the part that gets me interested. Also that it just is robots as characters. Don't get me wrong I like human characters but I like it more if it is animals, robots, or make-believe stuff as the main characters. This is the one that I love to watch and am thinking of showing it to a friend.
After watching every episode and some Fannon. There is a lot of character development and reveals about V that, at the time, made her mysterious but now makes sense. N had much of his memories suppressed, while V remembered Everything (and was borderline broken). V really cares for N, and N had a thing for V, but the New V pushed N away while Uzi is more honest about her feelings for him (even if she doesn't admit it). V also remembers "The devil made reality" that is Cyn. That fear and trauma made it easier for V to butcher worker drones.
I just had a theory as of watching this video. You know how the absolute solver heart thingy disappeared into a black orb at the end of the second episode? Well, upon rewatching the scene, before Doll shows up at her place, a black orb appears just before she teleports into her dining room. My theory is that J's solver didn't actually die like we thought. It may have teleported into Tessa's landing pod and inhabited a new drone body. Given that J seemed like she was adjusting her suit when she was leaving the ship, she may have just gotten into it. Also, J, V, and N were all worked drones at some point and now have completely new disassembly drone bodies. Perhaps their original bodies weren't rebuilt but rather simply discarded. Maybe the absolute solver took the consciousness from the three and implanted their minds into itself. So J's mind was never lost and is now in a fresh new body ready for killing. Ive also got a theory as to how N and V's relatThe solver also probably discarded any memories it deemed unnecessary for the job of killing the worker drones, leaving the murder drones different than their original personalities. It's safe to assume N's personality didn't change too much, and his solver just gave him the killing instinct to do his job. J's solver really didn't change too much. However, V's solver seemed to change her drastically. She went from being a shy, nervous drone to a crazy, psychotic killing machine. My guess is the solver changed her personality to make her more efficient in killing and, in doing so, erased her shyness and made her crazy. And once she killed enough drones, she probably became desensitized to it and made her crazy (the sequel). Now, in regards to N's crush on V, I'm assuming N's crush remained a constant through his solver transformation, but he probably didn't realize why he liked V. However, in the second episode, N has his flashback dream, where he remembers how he and V met and the real V he fell for. My guess is that since his dream, he realized that he doesn't really like V as she is now. The "V, you kinda suck" line was probably his realization/confirmation of this. Now, V is holding a lot of information back from Uzi and N, but I think this will be the turning point as to how N and V's relationship will go. If V shares what she knows with N, this will let N trust her and let them figure out their past. In doing so, it may revert V back to her shy and reserved self that N originally had a crush on. But who knows, this show always likes pulling out surprises, so we'll just have to wait until the next episode.
It would be awesome to see a horror movie with humans instead of drones based on this series after it’s over. It might have a very restricted rating though lol
I"m gonna be honest, I like Murder Drones... but I could have loved it. This was pretty much the final nail in the coffin for what I've come to expect from Liam Vickers' works. He designs some of the most awesome, unique, downright terrifying horror character designs I've ever seen, but every time they always fall flat in the same way. Chordie (Cliffside) was cool, but her spidery cryptic persona was thrown out almost immediately after it was revealed she's super insecure or something. Ic-0n (Internecion Cube) had a cool eldritch machinery deal at first, but pretty quickly revealed she has her own self esteem issues. And of course, we come back to Murder Drones, where V (Apparently the most unhinged and feared of the Disassembly team, the super crazy psychopath operating on killer instinct), only kills about two people in a FLASHBACK in the first episode, gets captured easily by screw-up N in the same episode, does nothing in the second episode, and escapes just to get her butt handed to her immediately in the third. The main problem is that the horror is always consumed by the humor. Liam never lets his awesomely horrific designs ever just be monsters, they always are just a bunch of funny quirky dudes and dudettes like the rest of us, so I never feel like they're any more threatening. I still like this show, but I've just stopped expecting anything different from these characters.
Thing about Liam is that he doesn't like to kill off established characters but often creates a lot of them, it's sort of his Achilles heel if you go into his past history, when he feels like the time is right he's gonna let his characters be monsters and downright horrifying I can guarantee that but when he'll do it is something I don't know
@@Glitch-In-The-System009 I mean, her constant "haha robot meta humor funny funny" kind of killed it, not to mention her continuing of those jokes right after the supposed death scene with Uzi's dad has got to be some of the worst tonal dissonance I've ever seen in my life
I still like Murder Drones but I cant help but agree that for some weird reasons Liam keep injecting weird/unfunny humor in is animation project. It is clear watching Murder Drones (and Internenion Cube) that humor is his weak point and Horror/mystery his forte, so why trying to blend them ? We dont he just do a serious Horror/mystery serie ?
14;38 I disagree u think N does still crush on her but meeting uzi made him far less trusting of v also he didn't wanna come to terms with the fact they need to eat workers

Thing about Liam is that he doesn't like to kill off established characters but often creates a lot of them, it's sort of his Achilles heel if you go into his past history, when he feels like the time is right he's gonna let his characters be monsters and downright horrifying I can guarantee that but when he'll do it is something I don't know
Murder drones still has horror tho. Just look at eldritch J. She/it was terrifying! It’s a shame it got destroyed in episode 2
@@Glitch-In-The-System009 I mean, her constant "haha robot meta humor funny funny" kind of killed it, not to mention her continuing of those jokes right after the supposed death scene with Uzi's dad has got to be some of the worst tonal dissonance I've ever seen in my life
@@capootiscrepitoos that’s true.
0:40 you have no idea.
hi
Quick Question:
Is V a "hear me out"?
Easy
Ive also got a theory as to how N and V's relationship will be going forward. The solver also probably discarded any memories it deemed unnecessary for the job of killing the worker drones, leaving the murder drones different than their original personalities.
