In this video I go over 3 different throws on the run for infielders. Regardless what position in the infield you are playing or where you are fielding the ball, as a righty you throw of your right foot and as a lefty you would throw of the left foot.

On the second one as the shortstop on the ball hit up the middle, wouldn't you just spin to keep your momentum

It depends, normally when the ball beats you can keep spinning with it, but it’s in front you can throw and back pedal like I show on the video.
