Yes, in the US we see what the media puts out, but we are not meek sheep. RUclips is media also, and we see how Rwanda has developed in such a short time. .Its wonderful, and we know better than to believe everything on the television networks.

Hi Miss Gracey, thank you for a very nice and detailed documentary, you are doing great to enlighten a good part of Africa. I live in Europe most of my European friends have a misconception that Africa is very poor and people live in mud huts which is not true. The media here never shows the good and most harmonious parts of Africa. Just look at Rwanda which is a great country with modern infrastructure, I'm glad you show the real Africa. Be safe and God bless you Gracey.🙏🙏🙏💓💓💓💓

All African countries should learn something about Rwanda, Africans now think democracy is the way to go but since democracy introduced many African countries have gone back wards. Cause of corruption. Look at Rwanda, not a democratic country, but moving forward very very fast. If you got visionary leader not politicians.

The richest country in the world, by far, is DR Congo. It has everything: oil, minerals, productive land, and water resources. DR Congo has enough hydrological potential that, if harnessed, could provide electricity to all of Africa. DR Congo has enough potential farmland that it could feed all of Africa... but only 10% of this potential land is under cultivation. Unfortunately these bountiful resources are squandered by massive corruption and exploitation by outside forces.

How I wish that one day we will be able to use our full potential and stand for ourselves as a contintent and countries coming together to helping each othe for a better future of Africa.

The resources are there as you describe . But still the DRC country is among the 4 poorest in the world. And your statement , shared by africans about their respective countries ( actually surpised a white person saying that) , that African countries are poor because their riches are plundered (and still being plundered) by external powers , is perpetuating the cliche stereotypes of the perpetual helpess victims that africans are. Colonialism ended more than 60 years ago , whowever , a few countries that have realized that and while recognizing the negative contribution of what colonialism have had on the continent and still have , these countries have taken accountability of their potentials and that's a starting point to move forwards. Asia have been equaly colonized , but they haven't stayed with this minset. South Africa, Ghana , Nigeria , Kenya have moved on long time from that ,and see now where they are headed (albeit still with other issues) . Africans (and their western partners ) need to start realizing africans have to focus on their own leadership being accountable.
