- Uncle Greg tells Lori how Anakin (Hayden Christensen) and Padme's (Natalie Portman) kids turned out with their daughter Leia (Carrie Fisher) sending R2D2 (Kenny Baker) to Obi-wan Kenobi (Alex Guinness) with the plans to the death star before being taken prisoner by Darth Vader (David Prowse & James Earl Jones). R2 and C3PO (Anthony Daniels) are kidnapped by jawas and sold to Luke Skywalker (Mark Hammil) and his uncle Owen. R2 being a rebel, escapes to find Obi-wan and Luke is forced to go after him. Obi-wan saves Luke from the Tuscan Raiders and tells him Darth Vader killed Anakin. Obi-wan wants to teach Luke the ways of the Jedi and how to use the force, but he has to farm water. But his aunt and uncle are murdered so everything is cool and he can go now. They meet up with Han Solo and Chewbacca and fly away on the Millennium Falcon. They are pulled into the Death Star and Obi-wan and Darth Vader fight one last time. Leading to Obi-wan becoming one with the force and Han, Luke, and Chewy saving Leia. They escape and meet up with the rebellion and are able to destroy the Death Star.
Star Wars (later retitled Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope) is a 1977 American space opera film. It was the first film released in the Star Wars saga. The film happens 19 years after the formation of the Galactic Empire; construction has finished on the Death Star, a weapon capable of destroying a planet. Princess Leia Organa, leader of the Rebel Alliance, receives the weapon's plans hoping on finding a weakness, but unfortunately for her and the Rebel Alliance, she is captured and taken to the Death Star. Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker meets Obi-Wan Kenobi, who has lived all alone for years on the desert planet Tatooine. After that happens, Luke's home is burned while Beru and Owen Lars (his aunt and uncle) were inside, Obi-Wan begins Luke's Jedi training as they - along with Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2 - attempt to rescue the Princess from the Empire

Uncle Greg has to tell his niece, Lori, a bedtime story but doesn't know any of the traditional ones. He uses his knowledge of movies, in this case, "", to deliver. His misremembering and interpretation of events seem to twist the story into parody. Lacking any form of parental skills, he fumbles through the movie forgetting sometimes that he is telling this to a child.
Please enjoy our recap of this film. Our reaction to scenes are solely based on the writing and how the plot could have been better. Plot holes are pointed out and made to be funny. We actually do like the movie.

Yeah, you're right. We were going timeline order and it just seemed easier to keep with the idea of clones since we weren't doing the Clone Wars. Basically we are lazy bastards.

Glad you like them. If you haven't got to the sequels yet, I think our Last Jedi is the best of our Star Wars recaps. We would have liked to incorporate the shows, maybe one day the smaller shows, but I couldn't imagine doing the whole Clone Wars, unless maybe as a one-off whole series recap. But man the last season of Clone Wars is so good.
Im watching the movies for the first time time in theatrical oder, woulda preferred if you didn’t spoil other movies but i guess thats what i get for taking so long to watch these
