The movie implied that Wanda killed herself but I’m pretty sure she didn’t. I think she did that to make strange think that she’s dead. She could have teleported or created some kind of energy shield around herself hence the red burst when the tower fell

The Darkhold is Nasty. Wanda was literally dreaming a world she was happy each night, taunting her that she could be happy if she did what she did in the film.
Fun fact. Elizabeth was genuinely angry at the kids during the scene where they are throwing stuff at her. They threw something hard at her face and she snapped at them.
Elizabeth Olsen has said in a recent interview that when Wanda posses the other universe’s Wanda, her powers are limited. Makes you think how powerful she really is
I think Wanda could of teleported to Agatha, cause at the end of Wandavision Agatha said "you're going to need me", and Wanda said "If need you, I know where to find You."
the mirror dimension scene was insane. i saw someone comment once saying like “you should never give a witch a mirror, and strange put wanda in the mirror DIMENSION”
This movie is a HUGE callback to Monica's phrase in Wandavision. "If Wanda is our problem, she has to be our solution". 'Cause really, no one can beat her but herself.
As a Scarlet Witch fan, this movie and Wandavision felt like a dream come true lol I didn't think MCU would ever pay that much attention to her. Honestly, she's a controversial figure in the comics too, many of the other heroes hate her and she did end up harming many ppl before, but to me, Wanda's true force is the complexity of her character. She isn't a conventional hero, but also not exactly a hero. She's been through so much crap that you can't help but understand where she comes from. The woman really could never catch a break, not even her own illusion to make herself happy could happen without harming others and herself in the process.
The MCU always felt very Avengers-centric, so I'm excited to see how far it expands, especially with the characters who have superpowers.
Charlize Theron is playing Clea. Dormammu's niece and sometimes love interest for strange. in the comics she marries Strange, eventually becoming Clea Strange. She is the Sorcerer supreme of the dark dimension.
I also love how at the end of the day STILL nobody could stop Wanda. She realized what the Darkhold has done to her so she had to stop herself, and made things right.
i love how all she wanted was her kids the entire movie, but her kids are the only ones who could technically defeat her
cthon created chaos magic which is wanda’s primary power and in the comics he’s possessed her a few times but recently she absorbed both him and the darkhold so she’s currently the most powerful she’s even been
When Strange looks through the future possibilities in Infinity War, I'm not really sure, but it's possible he looked through alternate reality multiverses that were exactly the same as their world's up to that point. So every multiverse that was even slightly different before he did that on Titan, he didn't see.
Wanda went from awesome.. to awesomely terrifying. This movie was a horror movie and I loved every minute of it. The music scene with Darkhold Strange, I can’t even put into words how amazing that scene was. Using music as a battle strategy?- best use of those classic songs I’ve ever seen in a movie. Also, I really hope they keep John Krasinski as Reed Richards for the Fantastic Four reboot coming, I’d would kind of be disappointing if he cameoed here but didn’t continue the role, I think it fit him well.
One of the reasons I liked this movie was because of Sam Rami, the way he portrays horror is incredible!
Them calling Wanda’s love for her children selfish. But they also forget her selfless love and sacrifice of Vision.
Best part of the movie is you guys thinking this is her full power. The Scarlett Witch was really being reasonable in this.. she was using maybe 20% of her actual powers 💀
You mentioned how you liked Strange loving Christine is a constant in every universe. Any plans on watching What If? It took a really interesting take on his love for Christine. Hope you'll eventually get around to it ^^
