@WhySeeYC Thank you for putting this informative video together. Who determines the salary? Can one negotiate salary? How long are you bound to work for the employer?
Hi YC!
Hiiiiii
Hi. I am starting in September, and your insights on the intensity really helped me. Thank you so much. I'm a mom, and I'm sure I must put my baby in the nursery for a few more hours. Would you recommend any programming languages to start learning before starting? You mentioned SQL ( I have no knowledge of it). Any tips you can give me would be helpful. Thank you.
Hi @AndreiaCarina, how is your course going? I am applying for the spring batch. Any advice regarding the interview and what to do or aware of when the course starts. Thank you.
Hi there @floade6271, I'm absolutely loving the course so far. Can't believe it's ending in 3 weeks. There wasn't a 1-to-1 interview; I completed an online assessment back in July and was selected for the second round of students. The assessment consisted of coding challenges and a few programming questions, as well as inquiring about your goals for the course. In my case, I am sponsored, but I don't have a job offer at the end. The best advice I can give is, since the course is intensive, allocate time to consolidate what you've learned in class. It's going to feel rushed, so you'll definitely need to catch up. Also, practice as you learn and start working on your portfolio as soon as possible. That way, you'll have better chances of landing a job afterwards. Best of luck :)
@@AndreiaCarina Thank you for the tip and heads up. Any advice on how to ensure I get a job offer, please?
When applying, make sure you read the sponsorship descriptions carefully as some companies offer a job at the end of the course but some don’t. Mine doesn’t but it was closest to home in case I get a chance to interview at least. 😊
@@AndreiaCarina This is very helpful. Thank you so much. I have applied for a place, completed the online assessment and the video recording of 5 questions. I await eagerly a positive response from the team in January 2024.
Did u get job after finishing the course?
