Tarrifs will encourage US manufacturing. In the long run it's better because it will open up jobs that enable people to afford more. Tarrifs will make it cheaper in the long run. The system has been turned on it's head by anti-American sellouts who crafted a system that's painful to undo. Once we get past that stage, it gets better. Please study basic economic principles. Economies are dynamic. When tarrifs are increased on Chinese dumping, the CCP devalue the Yuan to remain competitive. That means prices are not increased in Dollar terms.

Tarrifs will encourage US manufacturing. In the long run it's better because it will open up jobs that enable people to afford more. Tarrifs will make it cheaper in the long run. Please study basic economic principles. Economies are dynamic. When tarrifs are increased on Chinese dumping, the CCP devalue the Yuan to remain competitive. That means prices are not increased in Dollar terms.
Chinese goods are a staple of American life. Walmart imports Chinese goods. Staples will be grossly overpriced and Trump hopes American makers will fill the void. But these are gadgets, clothing, low-margin items that cost way less to produce in China or elsewhere. So we will be screwed.

First, Democrats: big disaster relief proposal now, when a lot of people in NC/GA/FL just lost their homes. Contrast to Trump's paper towels, sharpies, attacks on FEMA workers.
