Everytime I hear this song, my heart aches, face full of tears. I can never forget the person who birthed me. Oh Allah, please protect her from all harm, and forgive her sins. I feel regretful not being able to be by your side during your worst, and now you're gone and I'm unable to ask you for forgiveness, thank you, or get to say that I love you.
My mother passed on last year, when i was 14 years old. Throughout my whole life, I have not received a lot of love from her, for my parents divorced ever since I was about 5 years old. She went back to her home country, coming to visit me every year only for one week at most. Thus, I didn't have that much memory of her. Due to us being apart, for a long time also made me start to feel awkward with her as I grow up. Though, my love for her never changed. I still love her with all my heart. I do. I feel regretful I didn't get to be with her when she was sick and going through pain and suffering. I'm sorry. I just didn't thought of the worst possible outcome, that it may ever happen.
I just want to say, I'm sorry, Thank you, I love you, I miss you. May Allah protect you, I'll continue to be someone you can be proud of so please rest assured now. Now that you're no longer here, I've started to realise the person I need to be, and InsyaAllah i will strive to be better. Although, you're no longer with me, maybe this is part of Allah's plan and what he plans is best for us.

This song reminds me of what a parent-childern relationship should be. My relationship with my parents are really messsed up. I wish I could get parent who were always there for me. Again, a brilliant song :) but I feel that Harris has a beautiful, naturally stunning voice - a raw and unique voice. I feel like in the past two songs/bad herds, his voice has been heavily autotuned and it doesn't need it - we can't hear his naturally beautiful voice!! And in the last one specially, his voice was drowned by heavy heavy music. Nevertheless, a brilliant song.
