Best direct and clear instruction on installing drip irrigation. Putting the supplies on a table made a good contrast between the table’s light surface and the pieces of equipment. Putting black drip lines and other pieces on the soil, often dark brown, doesn’t allow for much contrast.

Thank you so much for talking about drip irrigation. This is one aspect of flower farming that I haven't learned much about yet, in fact, it has been intimidating. Thank you for breaking down the steps and explaining in a way that was easy to understand. Most valuable!

1st I want to say THANK YOU for all the amazing info on all of your videos! I hope to start my small scale flower farm this year and have spent hours going through all of your videos. As a hobby gardener for year, I've only started to grow flowers the last few, and I LOVE THEM, but being that it was a hobby food garden, I wasn't hardcore really tuned into their watering needs and happened to grow ones that didn't require alot of attention, lol, prob why they did so well....zinnia, cosmos, and calendula. With that being said, I wanted to ask where to find info to help determine how many lines I should run per row. I am in zone 7b/8 and plant to focus on summer annuals my first year. TIA!

How do you do the section that you direct sow? Is it also under the mulch or is it on the top? If it’s under do you just place 2-3 seeds in a hole of the plastic?

I might have missed it, but where do you buy your drip tape and connectors from?

  • @evelynbrady3347

Does drip tape plug up with irrigation

If I was to make my zinnia rows 3 feet wide, how many lines of drip tape would I need? Can I get away with 2?

Thank you for sharing! I am a first year flower gardener starting with two 4x10 beds. We will probably be moving in year or so. Do you think it would be worth it to invest in drip irrigation or wait until we move?

Drip irrigation can be re-used from season to season so you can use it now and take it with you or you can try it out later too.. doesn’t matter either way :)

Oh, brother, I'm hand watering and moving ONE sprinkler all day long. I am *worn out.* But I've put so much money into the flowers already, and after a year I'm not making enough even for my own wage, so I can't justify spending MORE.

Keep at it! I'll admit, the first few years of growing are TOUGH but you'll get there!
