I mean...powerful top-spins (both forehand and backhand), excellent footwork, outrageous block, they both immediately engage to topspin rallies no matter what... PURE OFFENSIVE PLAYERS!! This is why he is the 2x world champion. He may play slow and lazy sometimes, but he has great finesse and precision in his shots. I put him in my top 3 list of favorite players next to Schlager and Kreanga for sure.
And he also lacks any willpower what so ever, if you see how he behaves, all of his physical expressions were a lot more energized and positive than they are nowadays
tt coaches where i'm from strictly discourage stepping off the table. They consider it bad technique. These are the top players in the world and there almost always off the table.
I think Ma Long served correctly and did not hit his paddle on the table - that was a noise coming from the spectators... maybe a door or something which distracted the concentration of Zhang Jike why he made the mistake and complained to the audience with his gesture. So Ma Long gets the point for 7-4. The point to 7-5 is just cut off, I think ;) It's not a problem to hit your paddle on the table if you don't do this with violent aspects ;D
jeez they bend their knees lower than i thought. i play viscaria with tenergy too. going to have to go lower to hit that fast :/ my coach was telling me to stay lower all the time but i thought she was just picking on me. really do need to do that in order to hit fast shots in ^^;

@tshirttime84 Those amount is only earned from winning Tournaments. He might doing other things such as photo shoot, advertising and Butterfly made a blade using his name called 'Zhang Jike' so I guess he probably got a lot of money for that. He bought lamborghini....it might be true? :/
Interesting match. Probably the worst I've seen Ma Long play. When he started losing he just seemed to give up and lose those sets convincingly, usually it's the opposite and he makes a come back to win.
his worst matches were against koki niwa and lee sang su not here ! zhang just played much better in the 7th set and eventually won the match. ML played great table tennis but he didnt won the crucial points like he did in Austria open , beating ZJK 4-3 again

I miss the Zhang Jike in this sort of form. The current Zhang Jike is missing the fast counter shots that he used to have.
i think it has something to do with the ball change. And current zjk have too many injuries.
