FACT: ORANGUTANS NOT ENDANGERED IF THEY COUNTED THE ORANGUTANS IN THE OVER 100 sanctuaries, they don’t count them in zoos or sanctuaries! They move wild wild orangutans into sanctuaries where they do not get counted and the orangutans NEVER leave the sanctuaries NOR DO THEIR OFFSPRING!
The mother orangutan was so gentle to the human toddlers even though they were near her orangutan baby! I was worried that she would be violent, but she just accepted a lot of food from the hands of both the human toddlers and adults. The human children were not much bigger than her own baby. There were many toys for the orangutan baby that a human would have.
That's because she had been raised by humans. She even attended kindergarten and received basic educations with other kids. You can see her past videos posted when she was juvenile.

An orangutan could understand the educational level of pre-school, but not kindergarten.
You're right. The level was too advanced for Orangi although teacher was saying that she had 5 yr old intellectual level at the time. I think the tv show was made for entertainment purpose. You could be right since Korean 5 yr old is actually 4 yo in US age. Higher education was offered in her class but it would be too much for her to handle so TV only showed limited fun part. Everyone in class poured a lot of love for her.
I hope this practice has stopped at this zoo. It very bad for the mother. She is really fat here and if it does continue, she would become fat and lethargic. Not to mention, the foreign germs and bacteria brought in on the humans and being in close contact with her could make her sick and even death.
Why would this place be called "ZooZoo"? The official work shirts of the zookeepers read: "ZOOZOO". This does not make sense! Change the name of the zoo.
This is so cruel..they should be released into the sectuary where they can learn the wild instincts and eat good diet like fruits and veggies..here they are used as a clown and eat some unhealthy processed food..

최근 관련 영상들을 보면 오랑이가 컨테이너 안에서 지내고, 어릴적 과도한 이족 보행으로 정상적인 오랑우탄 처럼 4족 보행을 하지 못한다고 하던데..😢 현실적 어려움이 있겠지만 복지에 힘써주셔서 건강하고 즐거운 오랑우탄 영상으로 사람들을 행복하게 해주면 좋을거 같아요
