Thousands of people attended an event on Monday evening at the Menora Mivtachim Arena in Tel Aviv and called for an end to the war on Gaza and a hostage deal.
The event, dubbed The Time Has Come, featured prominent Palestinian citizens of Israel and Israelis giving performances and speeches, attempting to reignite hope for a peaceful political solution between Israelis and Palestinians after the declining peace movement in Israel had come under further pressure since 7 October.

It was just the only reasonable option. The only way forward for Palestinian liberation is a true and lasting peace. That should also come with self determination, the right of return, and significant reparations, but it still has to come with peace. War will only bring death.

There's no hope in the IDF achieving victory in Gaza. I think that the IDF will fully withdraw before October this year.

Your anger is understandable, but you shouldn't want to cultivate it until the end of time. I'm not saying Palestinians should lay down all their arms tomorrow, but they can't keep fighting forever. Long-term, there's no alternative to some kind of deeply imperfect peace. The people in this video are your ally, not your enemy.
War is very traumatic and can affect people for decades after the war ends. I know because I was in a group that dealt with people from Finland, who were victims of the 2nd world war. And although I met them over 30 years after the end of the war, their childhood experiences still affected them, which resulted in alcoholism, PTSD / PTSS, imagine going on holiday and sharing a house with a highly educated respectable, professional, who screams and panics during the night, and wakes up everyone, and then the following day, they feel so ashamed of disturbing everyone else that, they start drinking and hurt themselves.
The suffering of Palestinians is unbearable, their future will be very difficult and dark whenever and however it all ends...
To have peace and brotherhood is a dream shared by most of humanity... You are not alone. We may disagree on how, but that should not stop us from trying.
