- David Goggins at the Leadville Trail 100 RUN race on august 18, 2019. This is the Twin Lakes Aid station mile marker 62.5 of the race more than halfway through he was looking strong. Then I saw him again at the Outward Bound station mile marker 76.9 already 16hrs and change into the race where he took a small 5-minute break and went back at it again. Finishing race in 35 out of 386 finishers and 824 starters. This race is no joke since the lowest elevation point is near 10,000 feet above sea level... Congratulations David on a great comeback to Ultrarunning.

I’m glad you got to experience that dude, he is an inspiration to millions of people and you got to meet him.
@@williamgregori4033 yeah dude really happy I did but then again I got to see him and he is human just like all of us just puts in the hard work that most neglet... we all have a david goggins inside of us just got to find him
@@Theninjaonthemountains im gonna be just like david
If Goggins walks at any part of a race, you know that race is brutal.
he walks all the time actually, but always at a fast clip.
I think this is the parts where he gets food and water becuase the human body needs that to function
Most people walk the up hill which he is doing in the video and run the downhills / flat areas. Running up will burn most of your energy so running going down will make your time up for walking going up at a fast pace.
Uhh if u read Goggin’s books he actually often walks most of his ultramarathons
Everyone walks, or powerhikes during a race at some point, even elite athletes. The difference is these people do walk a lot faster than others. Same as running.
Gasping for air he still responded to every person he encountered love to see it.
yes he did!!
Damn he probably hears “stay hard” so much all he can say is “will do” 😂
This is incredible, he genuinely looks 20 years younger than he is.
yes he does
I’m finishing his book now. What an honor.
It was an honor I literally read his book one week ago and I got to meet him in person!!! I wanted to ask him so many questions but I knew he was in his own world
@@moonsover3263 I have listen to it twice is great!!
Oh shit goggins is back on the log I repeat goggins is back out on the log lol good to see goggins getting back in ultras stay hard
lol... I should had told him that.
He’s back!!!!!!
🗣️🔊 *Roger that* 💪🔥♥️

Damn that was so kool !! That's like filming Bigfoot
lol... uncommom amongst the uncommon
this is goggins on his relationship with pain. Stay hard
David Goggins!!!!!!!! What a great dude! Huge inspiration
Dobbs is a fucking stud, Goggins wasn't lying about him and his attributes. Crews and does his own 200 milers. Would be awesome to have such a friend.
This is nuts, I did a 100mile 10day hike when I was 19. Can't imagine doing what he's doing
This guy is an inspiration. Started running becaus of him
Must be so cool to hear your motto from other people!! STAY HARD!
the guy is a badass, I wish I could meet him again.
Who's gonna carry the log and the boats💯💯💥💥💥goggins thz was awesome to watch even fr a short clip
The man, the legend!
That's one focused individual
STAY HARD !!
Very cool. Impressive times. You are a badass as well. Namaste!
That little interaction with the women at the start warmed my heart man
Yo that is cool to see David goggins is the goat so are you.
Thank you, it was a great experience for me
I like how he stills says "bro" just like in Living With A Seal for 31 Days
Feels good to see him speechless and actually doing what hes talking about
My favorite human.
So wholesome
The man himself
no bull!! focused af, thats why didn't want to bother with him
The ninja on the mountains we knew he will be like that
@@marcosotero2204 i had a million questions for him planned but I held back and just let him donhis thang!!
The ninja on the mountains smart u know at that point he was in his won world anyway
@@marcosotero2204 I got the message the moment he told me only for a little bit
Hell yeah Goggins!!!
Did a lot of people follow him during the race? I see a guy helping him out. Probably a crew member. Dude is like a celebrity out in the races now
a handful of people that knew he was there would cheer for him at every aid station, but I was the only one running after him
@@Theninjaonthemountains Haha good stuff. Couldnt say I wouldnt have done the same. I'd probably get left behind anyways
Reading his latest book at the moment. Can see him refusing the poles just as he wrote.
just came back here after completing second chapter if NEVER FINISHED.
I just listened to the new podcast getting book soon
That was so beautiful what she said. Stay hard
thanks!
His feet where broken in this. Stay hard!
dammmmmm bro i listen to david every day. im ex army too
he is such an inspiration
Ninja,
There is a run up Quandary Peak 8/21/19 @5pm, seems right up your alley.
I totally would, but I work that day... may plan it properly for next year... I am also doing pike peak ascent on saturday
I would have freaked out if I saw him. All bearing gone
Ive gone to Leadville many times and hiked up mount elbert, its a beautiful place and a very high elevation, but evwrytine we went someone in my family got elevation sickness lol. Running 100 miles up here is wild
100% elevation alone will beat you, running 100 miles at that elevation is no joke
Damn
Mf mind of a savage. Stay hard Goggins! Almost finished with your book!
I read his book twice and was so lucky to have met him in person, but them when I saw him I realized same thing he says about others idols that he had in his life... once you meet them you realize they are just people like you and me!! and if he can do it so can we!!
@@Theninjaonthemountains hell yeah! Never idolize another man! If someone else could do it, so could we! I don't particularly idolize goggins, I admire the characteristics he harbors and what he stands for. Its a powerful message he's spreading!!
@@daronhill6850 totally understand and feel the same way
@@Theninjaonthemountains Love the fact you interact with your viewers. Subscribed!
@@daronhill6850 thank you!
If i was breathless and in pain and someone told me i was an inspiration I'd either tell them to stfu coz I'm dying or get pumped up... Could go either way
for sure that's why when I saw him again later in the race I did not approach him, I know he was in the pain cave
Does he wear trail shoes or regular road running shoes for this?
he was wearing trail shoes I don't remember what brand though nothing fancy that's for sure
Yo what shoes is he wearing?
looks like a pair of Asics Fuji Lites
i had no idea this was done walking!!!!!!
Only part of it
Why no bike?
is a foot race. they do have 100-mile mtb race there as well
@@Theninjaonthemountains Yeah but David never does bike races. That's my point
Why is he always carrying water bottles, why doesnt he hse a carry vest
some people prefer to carry them on their hands I never understood why either
@@Theninjaonthemountains quicker than taking it out and also it's probably a mental thing.
A walk in between doesn’t count when it is classified as an actual run no stop running
he is at mile 62 going uphill sometimes you gotta hike
Well it's does count though
They are walking./.....

I bet he hates the attention sometimes
Thats why i tried to give him space specially where his mind is at doing 100 miles
Shits probably like literally being in hell at that point
david goggins how to save your life step 1 do archery for 8 hours. step 2 meditate. step 3. beat up your body to shlt and run and hate yourself

I could do what he can do. I’ll go for a 200 mile run if I can walk between, so can anybody
Mate no you couldnt😂you wouldn’t make it 20 miles
He’s walking…doesn’t count as an actual run
Running consist of non stop, consistent run, anybody could of done that…I could do that
Shut up, no you couldn't.
