I wish my Taos had this upholstery! This looks way nicer than what mine came with, but I bought it used so it might be aftermarket.

Love the video! Currently looking at a 95 Taos model that’s in great condition. I just can’t find the market retail value for buying and selling this model. Can you estimate a ball park figure of what yours would privately sell for ?

I own a Taos, and unfortunately learned how easily mice can find their way in through the bottom of the trailer door (not the screen door). It’s a design fault. Get underneath yours and see what I mean- a hole the size of your thumb is an open invitation. I ended up fashioning a mouse guard that I put in place when that door is in use.

could you post a picture of the guard?

When the outside water us hooked up it like any other sink. When you are using the water tank you have to pump the fawcet handle up and down.

I'm wondering where i can buy a 20 liter container that hooks to the hose under the sink? I'm having a hard time finding them. Also mt trailer didn’t come with a cord to plug into the truck for the inside lights it has a battery. Where does that cord plug into and where can I buy one?

Make your own water tank using an old 3 gallon container self dispensing laundry soap jug. Get some barbed fittings and screw your water line into it. Battery wiring harness is available at Pop-up parts.com...old Beckleys RV.

You crack a window and plug it into your lighter socket in your tow vehicle.

When you attach door after releasing nylon straps, how do you release spring pin clips holding door frame to camper? Do you pull down , push in , pull out? Could not see that closely on video.
Thanks and keep putting out your informative and well made videos.

Hello I’ve been looking at all kinds of pop ups and I like this style the most.
My question is when you said you could hook up to water if the campground has it, do you mean directly hooking up to a water line rather than filling say a 100 litre tank like I’ve had on larger campers? Is the only water tank on these models the little one ☝️ under the sink ?
    Thanks 🙏

Hi, thanks for the video. I recently bought a 1999 Taos. I wanted to ask you if you've had any problems with the propane heater and the thermostat? When I put the counter top in place it goes on and there doesn't seem to be any on/off switch for it. I don't want to have it switching on and off when we're sleeping.
Is the thermostat control unit supposed to be the on/off switch?

Tiny on/off switch on the thermostat. It is hard to see trust me.

Your video was very helpful. I just bought a 1999 Taos. I noticed cranking top seemed much more resistant for me. I opened up after getting camper home and did not bother to level. Do you think that had anything to do with the noticeable resistance to cranking up camper?
    Thanks for your informative video.

Hi James, thanks for your comments. In my experience, the camper top does crank up easier if the trailer is levelled first - especially past the half way point. Hope this helps.

If your has an a.c. unit it is harder to crank up. Make sure the pulleys and wiffle tree have lubrication.

Thanks for the video it was helpful one question do this have ac ?

    • @andyhamilton8940
      @andyhamilton8940 4 года назад

ana M some were equipped with AC and some were not. Easy add on if you find a junked RV. get the roof top unit off and have somebody wire up a plug.
