I just wanted to say hello and 🙏 thank you. I’m 52 and haven’t worn makeup in about 10 years because I’ve been working from home but I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t feel like I can get away without wearing it anymore. About a year ago I casually started watching make up videos and I’ve been experimenting. I’ve found that the specific info and techniques you provide to be so very helpful, more than anyone else I’ve watched. You give so much detail about how much pressure to apply and how to hold your brush and which direction to move your brush. You don’t leave out any details and I love that 💝. We have similar complications even though you have young, beautiful flawless skin, I still glean so much from you. God bless you and thank you, beautiful young woman for all that you do.

Your everyday routine can be different products same idea of a look. Ppl calm down, make up is fun and therapeutic. There’s really no wrong way. As long as you’re happy with how you look and feel then that is all that matters. These tutorials are simply ideas to help others perfect their own style or learn new tips and tricks!! I absolutely love seeing different ideas and versions of an everyday look. Gives me ideas and i never do my makeup the same way 2x

WOW!!! I’ve never even thought of doing a full strip lash under my lashes! I can’t wait to try that, and this whole makeup look out! Thanks so much for making this video. And believe it or not I almost left for work this morning without blending my chin contour also!!! I couldn’t believe it! I luckily noticed it while I was getting dressed. Getting dressed is one of my last steps, if getting ready. After I’m dressed it’s deodorant and perfume and then saying phone, keys, vape, and walking out the door. 😂

We want to know every step, esp the primer. My skin very different from yours so I might ask questions. I prefer a matte look on me. Also I prefer a subtle blush that's matte and kind of a rose/tan blend. I don't like yellow or coral on me cuz I have very cool fair toned skin.

The problem is, for someone who has no clue about makeup, me for example, all make up bloggers have hundreds of videos, each one, saying this is my "new make up routine" or "brow products you need". How can you have my every day make up routine, and then have multiple versions??so you have hundreds of videos each one using different techniques, different products. So in the end, I've still no clue what to use :-( you are very talented at make up, I'm just frustrated becuase ive watched quite a few videos over the last few days including yours, (especially your beginner make up tutorial), and I feel even more at a loss, at what products and techniques work well, over other products and techniques. Great video though
Honestly i think the best person to learn makeup from is jacklyn hill's older videos, like search back to about 3 to 5 years ago. She explains really well and she uses the best products. Like i dont think shes ever recommended a product that i didnt like. Also i consider myself a pretty good makeup artist so if you have any specific questions about what your struggling with on makeup, I'd be happy to answer them for you.
I bet you give yourself way less credit ❤. What I do is I just try different techniques using whatever I might have already on hand, and then I look in the mirror and then wear it out and I see how I feel in it. Do I feel confident? As I wear it, does it work with my skin type? Sometimes I go 5 months without changing my routine because I found what I really love on my face. Don't overstress about it because it can seem overwhelming! Just try and have fun with whatever you do buy and whatever techniques you try❤
Don't give up! Just keep trying things, if you're on a budget feel free to dm me I can suggest drug store products based on what you can tell me about your skin, but there are no rules to makeup! It's whatever makes you FEEL good. Start with blushes and lips. And then if you're open to doing your eyes covergirl has this beautiful Clean Makeup eyeshadow pallette that is so buttery and creamy and blendable I left it with my mom as she is not as comfortable with makeup but it's really elevated her makeup journey cause it may just take that one product that you really love and you'll get excited instead of frustrated. Pick a day of the week. Like Saturday and follow one specific video you watched with the products You already own at home ! And use the makeup look you watched and see if you like it through out the day. And each Saturday follow a video that stood out to you. From there either you will learn a series of techniques you’ll blend together or you’ll figure out which video to follow worked best for you. And from having products you like at home you can slowly add in new products you think you’ll like. You can always get samples from Sephora. So often I immediately hate a product a RUclipsr recommended just from trying it in a sample
Something that really helped me starting out... I found out that my struggles were partly because of low quality makeup and brushes. And trying to make something work instead of admitting it just didn't work for me and finding something that did. (Like foundation color lol) So important to let yourself experiment. Also, no amount of tutorials will help you like actually "painting" your own face day by day and learning how you like it to look. Go really light at first so you gradually learn how much product you need. The products I use are L'BRI's because they are easy to use, naturally hydrating, feel like my own skin, are beautiful and don't have a weird smell... and the brushes are sooo soft❤! Also you can get free samples! Let me know if you want to know more.
At 38 I feel like my concealer just makes me look tired when I don't even have wrinkles, or puffiness or anything. But I do like to just brighten my eye area to bring the whole look together but I can't with the concealer 😪

At 38 I feel like my concealer just makes me look tired when I don't even have wrinkles, or puffiness or anything. But I do like to just brighten my eye area to bring the whole look together but I can't with the concealer 😪
