Ravi ji, you are creating good content on cars from long time and I follow you. I have one request. Whenever you review any car, do talk about its safety ratings. Recommend any car for highways and for families ONLY if it has passed good safety ratings. We have seen how India is growing in terms of expressways. As more & more expressways are coming, we have also seen high rise in accidents and blunders by public on these highways or expressways. Forcing public to follow road rules is govt job. But as car users what we can do is force car manufacturers to talk about saftey and saftey ratings first. And you as an idol for millions of car fans and users, can really make a difference. We all public should create an environment that we will accept ONLY SAFE CARS and nothing less than that.
Maruti is such an example who not even think to get its car tested for Global NCAP and is not at all shameful about worst ratings.. Why? Because ironically we people made it no. 1 selling car.
So Ravi ji please think, you can contribute much in it. Thank you sir.
A question on behalf of people living away from their parents.
Sir, can you recommend a car for a family of 5 (including a child, two grand parents), which may be used only on holidays for long rides (1-2 times a year), easy to use rest of the year (in case grandpa wants to use it), good-ish luggage capacity, and cost below 16 lakhs on road (10 lakh ke neeche ho toh loan nahi lena hoga, but can compromise for a better car)
What would be recommended?
And as per your experience, which body type should be given priority considering children and elderly?
1. SUV/crossover for ease of ingress egress
2. MPV for sheer practicality (compromising on agility?)
3. Sedan (comfort)?
I have a list of cars in my mind, but because they are all of different leagues, I would not mention here.
You may use this as your next video idea if you may, keeping new cars in scope.

I do not think so, Maruti's service is time-tested and they have a huge on-ground service staff and service stations compared to any other brand. .

Simple hai agar ap highway pe chal rahe ho ya jyada speed hai 50 se jyada to ac behtar rahega , kyuki high speed mai air resistance ke wajeh se engine pe load aayega to fuel jyada consume hoga . Isi tarah agar speed kam he to phir window niche rakhne se bhi air resistance kam rahega to jyada farak nahi padega
So , conclusion high speed pe ac on rakho window close karo

Invicto and hycross are built on the same platform but the hycross waiting period is more than 2 years and Invicto will deliver in 2 months as both cars have the same space and luxury. There is no point for waiting 2 years for such negligible features except ADAS. I will definitely go for Invicto because of the Maruti network and trust. Recently I have driven this car and fallen in love with it. Zero cabin noise. The steering wheel is so light and has the best mileage and comfort. Love the auto hold feature in this car.

Will buy Invicto or Hycross only when they will come as plug-in hybrid, with atleast 20kw battery, ~100kg more weight, but with 125-150km practical EV range.
Although I enjoy panoramic sunroof but it will be great if solar panelled rooftop, another ~20kg weight, but ~50-60km free range is given as option.
By 2025, I would like to see a complete plugin hybrid with CNG, Electric & Solar.
And by 2027, CNG to be replaced with hydrogen.
Here needless to say, loaded with ADAS, paddle shifters, regenerative braking, LiDar, Satellite Wi-Fi, Air suspension, Fridge, massager seats, ambient lighting depicting kind of fuel & rpm, etc...

I'll go with Hycross, because when it come to maintenance a Wagon R mechanic (even if trained) can not understand Toyota, also Toyota badge on car looks sophisticated.

The concern regarding paying this much for a Suzuki arises from the fact that most Suzuki cars don't have good build quality. So if the build quality is good then I would have no problem getting a Suzuki at this price range as you get both quality and reliability of Suzuki. Exactly like the new grand vitara.

Hello Ravi. Great video as always, great fan of your videos. I currently drive a 2021 S Cross. In fact, I am a big fan of Toyota hybrid engine for how easy they are to live with. I did own a Corolla (5 years ) and Toyota Prius V Wagon(Hybrid) for 5 years, when I was in US. If I upgrade, would go for HyCross. Simple reason : Buy from Toyota if buying a Toyota engine. They would know better what works as a package.
The engine in both the cars is same suzuki just making things easier for toyota by giving them things like switches. The thing is that which ever company can make a part cheaper the part will be sourced by that company. Thats why both these cars have cheap window switches

I think diesel any day. It gives power with mileage. The torque nature is something, one will always miss. IMH, Seltos HTX Plus Diesel is a better choice than this as this will carry one more person that Seltos. But look at the fit and finish on that HTX Plus in comparison to this and the on road price difference is around 14 lakhs for Alpha Plus.

I’ve driven my hycross 10000 km in 2 months. Only complaint is steering is too light for highway. For city it’s great.
