dumbest shit ive seen in a while, raid base bigger than the unfinished base, tug boat, mlrs and outnumbered. Yet the clan was clueless just sending members 1 by 1 and dying over and over again. Good defence as usual by tokyo

What was the clan thinking? Unfinished stone base, key locks on the doors, not one solar panel on the roof. And when they got inside its completely empty. Do they stop then? Nope, sunken cost fallacy to strong. I laughed out loud when you looted the TC off that one guy. He was so sure he would go deep and take it all, he came prepared.
Some people always wondered why clans dont Raid Tokyo in early states.
This... this is why... they lost 36 MLRS, bunch of rockets, and toykio still recovered his main loot. even the raid base was full metal and more expensive than tokyio. LMAOO

The penta is looking amazing. Never thought the penta-footprint could evolve into something like your base. Can't wait to see where you take it and once it's dripped out.
I can only image how confused those raiders were too - the overlooked power of the penta-footprint - deception, misdirection, and confusion. The peaks you had for some of those shots were so sneaky wicked.
Looking forward to the next video. Hopefully the rest of that wipe smoothed out.

This is such a wild base concept. Its amazing. I can’t wait to see it finished.
I have been designing oasis bases since the update, the ability to have a literal moat to your base is pretty game changing imo. Raiders not being able to shoot up into peeks or rocket close to the base is so broken.
I have been specifically designing bases with grenade chutes to the bridges into the base so all raiders have to run across a narrow bridge without getting blown up or shot from upper gatehouse peekdown towers.
Yeah oasis bases will be awesome, especially the 2 level deep water ones, they will be such a trap for raiders 🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥

I never played Rust, so the only things I know about the game is what I've seen the last two months on AiT and Willjums videos. If I've seen it right one of the raiders had a TC in his inventory. Is it possible that their goal wasn't to loot his base, but to overtake it? And thus they attacked before everything was upgraded, so it's cheaper?

Not really dishonorable. It's very common for people to raid an unfinished base. It's to prevent having competition in the area and the possibility of whoever is building there to raid them. Strike early while they're weak mentality. All non-rping Rust players have done it.
It's a zerg. All zergs are dishonorable. Welcome to Rust.
@@Wendifur_ I agree. I mean I don't play survival games with pvp elements, because it would frustrate me, so it's not that my opinion matters.
In every pvp there will be different opinions on what it fair/honorable and what not. That isn't even limited to video games, it's also true for sports and board games. The more a game is limited to the pvp aspect, the easier it is to come to an agreement and the easier it is for devs to limit players to those agreements. Thus in games like CS or LoL it's less of a problem (even though there are still some people who act as if it is).
Everything that isn't limited by the devs (except bugs, glitches and so on) is fair game. Of course whoever sets up or moderates a server can add more regulations (ideally by changing the game respectively), but they then are also responsible to make those rules known to the players and to enforce them.
So in the end nothing is dishonorable, if it wasn't agreed on and players who want certain things to be banned, should look for servers with the respective ruleset.
All that said, I probably would prefer to play on a server where it is considered dishonorable, but if neither the devs nor the server owner says it is, then it won't be.
FINALLY, the underwater base is here! I've been hyped for this since forever, and I just knew you'd deliver, Aloneintokyo. Your cave and floor-stacked base defenses have been legendary-taking on 20+ raiders solo is an art form at this point. Now the question is... can you fend off an underwater raid like a true Rust Aquaman? Exited to watch this vid!

I built a similar base in 2017 in the icy waters. Every clan around failed to raid it, even when it was 3am and only one of us was on. The base was designed with cross covering turrets so it essentially defended itself
I have a feeling this is going to be an amazing series, this episode already with the underwater chambers and able to flank raiders is marvelous.

When you were diving under your base going through the foundations was the coolest thing. This base looked extremely difficult to build but must have been a blast to defend
That was insane seeing such an early game raid where they went for your starter after the first failed attempt on the water base. The water base didn't even have boxes!

Idea for base: Top down circle of floodlights hooked up to a seismic sensor.... and a handy dandy GL with smokes to create a diffuse wall for those moments you just have to seal :)

I don't know how you do this bro but high pop servers are crazy. I tried a 500 pop server for the first time 2 days ago. I had to work for nearly 2 hours, dying at least 30 times to get a 2/1 between 2 small monuments small fishing and ranch. Thanks for the videos.

I’ve been saying they should make water pumps able to remove water from an enclosed underwater building. Just make the power source high so it’s not suuuuuper op and people can build in the water
