Right? I picked this game up for the switch randomly a few weeks ago and enjoyed the hell out of the single player...the multiplayer didn't appeal to me much cause it seemed a little like an afterthought but the first time my friend and I played a pvp match I was like HOLY SHIT that was epic.
I don’t even know what this game is but the pvp esport potential is amazing. Newcomer spectating is a little tough. But so is spectating any new fighting game. Love to see more. Even a sequel with HD graphics. Gameplay is on point
this is prob my fav game on steam, i think a duel 1v1 online system would've been really cool to add. Ranked mode, casual mode, 1v1's, 2v2's or even like maybe a normal run but there's another player there as well and you can fight them while you play your run. All of this would be really cool.
I have a suggestion: To avoid infinite combos, there should be a limit to how many life points one can lose in a combo, an example: Player 1 is on 500 HP, player 2 combos player 1 but once player 1 loses let's say 200HP during the combo, a certian amount of I-frames should be given to player 1 so that they have a chance to escape the combo and turn around the match.
That’s one way. If there was a way to code it it would be best. We are playing with relics that have defensive buffs that may help this. Good suggestion thank you
i make every achievement in the game and didn't know that have a strong and solid PvP scene, thats amazing, this game could have these native and online co-op aswell because it's an amazing game

We don't really know if it is. The game doesn't allow two players to have m&k so when the two players play with it we either make them both play on controler or we find a way to choose one of them
I probably just don't understand since I found this game and began playing it on controller, but why in a competitive setting would you not just use 2 controllers? it seems odd that a competitive format would opt to allow an advantage at a hardware level. Can someone explain?
It's not strictly worse, it's strictly better. There's a wider range of aim with the mouse, but at the cost of dashing diagonally being slightly harder. @@cryo7847
It is unfortunate. If you have a PC you don’t need the game, you just need a steam account which is free, if that helps any. If you ever want to stop by the server and spectate the matches we’d love to have you in the crowd. We have the last 2 championship matches of the season coming and there’s a chance it could be a rematch between tragao and SJ

I would recommend you to join us to at least see for yourself how pvp actually works Yes, WoL wasn't balanced with PvP in mind, but we do our best to make it as fun as possible while allowing the maximum number of builds and strats
Hey, this game is a banger. If you had a mecanique that is already in this game don't give up on it, or else you won't make a lot. Hit points can be considered as a "stolen mecanique" so you know... go easy one yourself What mecanique btw?
We’ve had to put regulations in place to govern the use of those, it’s a work in progress but we’re getting there. Have you seen the newer videos which have these new rules in place

I never expected the niche multiplayer aspect of a niche game to be so EPIC.

Some people just don't have controller and the controller vs. Keyboard is an old one but imo it's not that big of an advantage
