This is quite literally the only dts with forced induction I’ve seen/found. Assuming because it’s fwd and has a max hp of about 500, it’s not surprising. But this is legitimately extremely impressive, I’m assuming this dts is worth a lot simply because it’s so rare.
On my girlfriends account responding (rip livia :( ) but I'm trying to do this exact setup pretty much. No clue where to start even. It's a 2007 buick lucerne and me and her wanted to get it to 500 hp fwd
My tire sensor was not working on the left front. After a few days it came back on. I believe if there is to much PSI in the tire, it makes it go off. I brought it down to 36 psi and seems to work now. Kind of odd.
These car are supported by hp tuners software. So search around your local tuners and ask if they use hp tuner software. Also you will need bigger fuel injectors, the stock injectors are only 19lb I'd go with at least 36lb. It's a nightmare to put a turbo on this car. Id recommend not doing it
Turbo went right where the catalytic converter was off the down pipe. It was low so had to use scavenger oil pump to pump the oil back in the car. Going to need bigger fuel injectors 39lb or more. Going to need an oil feed. That’s a bitch to get too. Have to take off the oil filter housing and and make a splitter feed oil pressure sensor and send a line to the turbo. I wouldn’t recommend it man. It was an absolute headache to pull this off. I spent a solid month on my back. After all that going to need a $500 tube for the turbo and bigger fuel injectors or else that damn thing will blow up lol
Yeah these motors are limited as hell in aftermarket. To pull it off correctly requires major modifications. It being V8 transverse setup makes space extremely limited already. You'd need a Turbo, custom exhaust work, custom intake piping, ability to tune it(standalone engine controller honestly), larger fuel system(injectors. Pump, lines) , Intercooler on engine side alone. Then you'll blow the transmission apart

That damn thing turns on for anything. I hate that warning system. If anything is wrong and the computer doesn't like it, stabletrack needs serviced. My radiator had a hole in it and it said it.
Northstar's one of the biggest pieces of junk ever made I'm surprised it holds together they can't even be repaired when they blow up or blow a head gasket
Actually they fucking marvelous if u get the heads done right northstars really don’t have any other problems and they are strong the internals on these last forever

Nah man. Head stud kit works like a charm
Mine has a broken tire pressure sensor too😂
they come stock with that😂
My STS has one too 😆
That’s awesome, post more videos when you can 🤘
