- The Golden Fleece Hotel is the oldest pub in Gawler and was in operation by 1840. It is famous for having one of the most intriguing ghost stories in South Australia. Many would remember the Golden Fleece Hotel in Gawler by its previous name, The Old Spot Hotel. I remember it well due to a current affair show in the late 1980s running a segment on the ghost (link at the end of this video) which is reported to still reside there. It had even featured on my Gawler Dark History Tour for many years both for history and the haunting there. We finally got the opportunity to explore this beautiful hotel for ourselves.
Remember, this is from a live stream investigation on a phone so not broadcast quality. It is simply highlights from a much longer session.

Hi, we have done 30 East Drive, I don't think we had much happen so will probably only put a blog up. I still have to review all the footage yet though, so who knows. As for the Skirrid Inn, we were two weeks off flying to the UK to do that one too. We had two nights booked in there and then sadly, COVID hit and we couldn't go :( We still have those two nights to use in the future though, so as soon as we can fly again, we are excitd to do that one :)

I had the headphones on at the Old Adelaide Gaol and heard mine and my sons name. Creeped me the F out. Also got an apparition in a photo in front of one of the cell blocks.

Very cool old hotel. Tunnels, I wonder how far under the area they go and what other buildings they link up to. The ball going off on the beer bottle was great evidence captured. Don't know what's up with YT lately not doing notifications. Thanks for sharing this investigation, Have you done an investigation at the old Colac Hotel in Port Adelaide, There is construction happening at the front of it, and you know know what construction activity does to ghosts! Could be worth checking out with Amy and Jarrad. cheers
It certainly would be intriguing to know where the tunnels led before they were blocked off. We would love to investigate the Colac maybe I should mention to Amy tomorrow when I see her :)

Awesome evidence! I remember the Old Spot lol. It's been a while though!, I've added it to my "places to visit before 2021 comes to a close"!! OMG that ladder gave me heart palpitations! Hi guys another really great location. I've often thought we may be looking at snippets or echo's of time past when we experience these encounters. But there was this one time I saw my sandwiches fly off a table and land about six feet away on the ground so I can't explain what ever that was. I really love your videos and the hijinks that go on with Allison and Kag always a crack up😂🤣😂.👍
I think we try and put everything into one box, and in reality, I personally think we are dealing with several different phenomena such as residual or intelligent haunting which are both very different. I often wonder if time clips and we get a glimpse of the past... but that would be a complicated conversation lol Pleased you enjoyed it :)
