@@jasonmyers2598not so much temporary amnesia so much as erased completely from their conscious mind and memories but not from their subconscious mind and memories
@@outbreakperfected5704 i think that rather than erasing them they just aren't brought back along with the body. Guardians are resurrected using the Light, while memories are domain of the Darkness. Also, hello my brother in SIVA.
I just learned that Garmelie (i don't know if it's written like that) is voiced by Billy Boyd, who plays Pippin in the LOTR trylogy (which I also saw like two weeks ago) and now I hear Pippin's voice in Garmelie.
They do meet in the original campaign the first time they all entered the Feywild here. In the original the group never got separated from each other, but they did in the animated series to save time and condense a story a bit more.
The music really sells it for me. They do such a good job showing that Artagan is a being of both whimsy and wonder. I can't wait to see C2 on the big screen.
Some D&D & Critical Role (CR) history, for more recent CR / Legend of Vox Machina (LoVM) fans... *:)* 1.) *_Who is The Traveler? However, The Traveler was *_NOT_* actually Evil-aligned; The (Eberron) Traveler was/is _Chaotic Neutral,_ lumped with in The Dark Six because The Traveler refused to blithely obey the strictures of the Sovereign Host, Eberron's Good-aligned Pantheon. - b.) *Refined ~* D&D 4th edition *(2008-2014)* saw The Traveler updated into an independent deity separate from Eberron, and into a definitively Neutral-aligned god (again, _Chaotic Neutral)._ 2.) *_Who is Artagan the Traveler? (Critical Role / campaign-world Exandria)_** ~* Artagan the Traveler is one of the immortal ArchFey Lords of the Feywild dimension/realm of the _Exandria_ (D&D) Multiverse. Love your history lesson about the two versions of the Traveler in the D&D Multiverse, both of the Eberron pantheon and from Critical Role! Very excited for more of Artagan and his time with Jester in the Mighty Nein animated series!
The only big thing you missed is that Archfeys are typically (at least in Exandria) limited to the Feywild and are unable to cross into the Material, despite being able to open portals for others. One of the things that happens post epilogue of CRC1 was someone or something opened a portal for him to come through as part of a bargain they needed to take a Long Rest before fighting the BBEG of C1 This is super important because it’s how he interacts and how he came to find Jester
*Slavic accent* "Have you ever heard of the Traveler?!"
the giant pearl colored death star that revives dead people at cost of temporary amnesia lol

You can't fool me. matt IS the traveler, and this is one big cosmic joke for him to enjoy mirthfully.

Dominic Monaghan (Merry) voiced a character (Archie?) in S1. Just need to get Elijah and Sean.
@@JustinSIsTankThat would be very cool.
Really? I thought it was Matt Mercer, but it does sound a little different from him.
Excited to see more of Artagan the Traveler in the Mighty Nein animated series, especially with his interactions with Jester!
Artagan's eyes look so cool...
Excited to see him in action
I can't wait to see him in Mighty Nein series. I think this is the character that most sounds just like Matt's normal voice which is so heartwarming
Imagine if scalan was in the group and met this guy, they become best friends 😂
Their chemistry would be off the charts.

Quite an artist 👀
He and scanlan would get along great
Perfect combination

Garmelie honestly takes the spot for one of my top favorites lmao
