I have had the great pleasure of meeting Robert Plant, and I thanked him for bringing such beautiful music to my life, he is a lovely person, and was very kind, and nice to me.
he is certainly a wonderful singer, both in Led Zeppelin, and in solo years, he has given so much to me with his music, there was a sadness in his eyes, but he is a happy person as well despite all the sad times in his life.

Heres the break down on the confusion: There are two sisters from India, last name Wilson. First Mr. Plant dated Shirley Wilson. Whatever happened...happened & they stopped dating but remained close. Good thing because then Mr Plant started dating Shirley's sister, Maureen. They were very much in love. They got married & had 3 children. Of course we all know the life changing devastating passing of his son, Karac. I was a teen when precious Karac passed. I was devastated. As an adult i now know how truly devastating it is to lose a child. Anyway...after about 15 years of marriage The Plants divorced. Eventually Robert ended up going back & dating Maureen's sister, Shirley again. Keeping in mind Robert & Maureen continued to be very close. Robert & Shirley ended up having a child together...his last child is his youngest son Jesse Lee Plant. The couple did not marry but i give huge props to all for remaining a very close loving family. Robert was 43 years old in 1991 when he had a child with his ex-wife's sister Shirley and he never married her. I read her of the gods and it says a lot about Maureen and Roberts early years together. Her family basically took him in when he had no where to live and afforded him while he was a nobody and had no job. Maureen was totally there for Robert when no one else knew who he even was..my aunt and I were talking about their marriage after she borrowed my book and read it. She commented that Robert had so many on the road affairs and apparently in the home affairs as well..which seems to me like Robert shitting where he eats, never a good idea, anyway my aunt noted on the divorce, why now? After all the years Maureen raised their kids and took care of the home while he went on tour and messed around on her, she gets through all that and then divorces him when they are more settled..now I know why, he was busy knocking up her sister.

Wow, didn't know this. In the Song Remains The Same an early scene shows Robert with his wife Maureen with their two kids Maureen and Karac playing naked in a stream. This was filmed around 1973. Maureen is the same age as I am and Karac 3 or 4 yrs younger. Roberts son Karac ended up dying of stomach issues when Zep was on tour in 1977. I knew Robert and Maureen split up shortly after that but never knew that Robert then went for Maureens sister. Interesting.
I'll check it out. In the early 80s my buddies and I saw the The Song Remains close to 100x at the midnight movies. I was in HS 82-86 when it was all new wave but all I listened to was Zep. If you follow Zeps career from 1968-1980 after their tour in 1973 IMO they were never quite the same. The albums after 73' were great but for a band that was sooo tight right off the bat the 1975 and 1977 tours didn't match up. The 79' Knebworth show does' sound pretty good though. Curse or not they really did have a lot of bad stuff happen every time they started to get it going again. The Plant family car accident, Roberts broken leg, Karacs weird death from a stomach issue, and then Bonham. I remember being at the roller skating rink in 1980 a week after Bonham died and a cute blonde girl I knew had written dead zeppelin on her white slip on vans. We lived in So CA but later that yr my dad was in NY on business at the same time John Lennon got shot and then around 4 months later in the spring of 81' Reagan got shot. Off the subject just saying there was a lot going on back then and early in 1980 was when Bon Scott had died.
Maureen wasn't very happy with RP ... they say they got married because RP was going through a difficult time financially, and Maureen's family had a family business and helped RP, even Maureen helped him financially when RP was in the Band of Joy 1966 ... so RP married her in gratitude, for helping him through difficult times.
I took to this great band so hard I memorized the entire guitar solo to Dazed and Confused which is very fast. I vocalised it of course. I don't play guitar. 😂

I read her of the gods and it says a lot about Maureen and Roberts early years together. Her family basically took him in when he had no where to live and afforded him while he was a nobody and had no job.
Maureen was totally there for Robert when no one else knew who he even was..my aunt and I were talking about their marriage after she borrowed my book and read it.
She commented that Robert had so many on the road affairs and apparently in the home affairs as well..which seems to me like Robert shitting where he eats, never a good idea, anyway my aunt noted on the divorce, why now? After all the years Maureen raised their kids and took care of the home while he went on tour and messed around on her, she gets through all that and then divorces him when they are more settled..now I know why, he was busy knocking up her sister.

Wow, didn't know this. In the Song Remains The Same an early scene shows Robert with his wife Maureen with their two kids Maureen and Karac playing naked in a stream. This was filmed around 1973. Maureen is the same age as I am and Karac 3 or 4 yrs younger. Roberts son Karac ended up dying of stomach issues when Zep was on tour in 1977. I knew Robert and Maureen split up shortly after that but never knew that Robert then went for Maureens sister. Interesting.

I'll check it out. In the early 80s my buddies and I saw the The Song Remains close to 100x at the midnight movies. I was in HS 82-86 when it was all new wave but all I listened to was Zep. If you follow Zeps career from 1968-1980 after their tour in 1973 IMO they were never quite the same. The albums after 73' were great but for a band that was sooo tight right off the bat the 1975 and 1977 tours didn't match up. The 79' Knebworth show does' sound pretty good though. Curse or not they really did have a lot of bad stuff happen every time they started to get it going again. The Plant family car accident, Roberts broken leg, Karacs weird death from a stomach issue, and then Bonham. I remember being at the roller skating rink in 1980 a week after Bonham died and a cute blonde girl I knew had written dead zeppelin on her white slip on vans. We lived in So CA but later that yr my dad was in NY on business at the same time John Lennon got shot and then around 4 months later in the spring of 81' Reagan got shot. Off the subject just saying there was a lot going on back then and early in 1980 was when Bon Scott had died.
Maureen almost always looked sad back then, but is it any wonder, knowing full well her husband's lifestyle?
Maureen wasn't very happy with RP ... they say they got married because RP was going through a difficult time financially, and Maureen's family had a family business and helped RP, even Maureen helped him financially when RP was in the Band of Joy 1966 ... so RP married her in gratitude, for helping him through difficult times.
