This is one of those chips where it's primary spotlight is pretty much, "that crazy vid you saw that obliterated thunderman/sparkman in ways you didn't know how back then"
Hope you never stop doing battle network academy it’s a great resource that the community needs for newer players. It’s also fun to learn about chip you may have ignored as a kid. All in all thank you for the work that you put in to making these you’re appreciated.
@@swallow_skyla3602 are you playing protoman or colonel? Those dominerds are seriously tough. I think bn 5 is hands down the hardest in the series. I just beat 6 for the first time and was really disappointed in how easy the bosses were. Even the last boss and bass were so stinking easy. Loved the game just super easy. 5 has the harder bosses. Anyway, if you're playing colonel, shadow soul and knight soul work really well against the dominerds. I have not played proto so not sure which souls would work best for that.
@@chrisjohnson9542 Proto Soul works just fine. But if you want a better way to delete them, get a counter then use Hotbody, almost guaranteed to delete them unless it is the 6th tier, which is Dominerd3EX, which may need 2 attack +10 or attack +30 with Hotbody 3.
Yeah… the only good strategy in using those chips is like set up with Colorpt to boost the damage from white web then use chips like Magbolt 1/2/3 to pull your opponent. This includes damage from either wood soul or x2 full synchro damage. That’s all I can think of.
Being a wood element, with a good pull or push, you can hit someone trough all the webs and they won't flinch. That seems broken as heck if you can set it up. It's the sensor setup from bn6 just with extra steps.
BN4 is filled with a surprising amount of chips with goofy mechanic that can do absolutely insane shit(elemental powder/elemental flamethrower are the other) and this is one of them It have the mechanic of Gyroman iirc where if you self lock; it scales the amount of web because it puts it on all enemy side so it can go crazy Didnt require Junk Soul/Search soul abuse or Gun Sol abuse but the web combo probably need Soul Canceling since thats tons of steps
This chip series could have been a single chip. Why do we need three chips that do the same thing. All it had to do was spawn in the row of the player. At least add something interesting to it.

It's a shame that this chip isn't as good in Red Sun, which has ThunderMan. He'd be great to use it on.
Windsoul takes good advantage of it ;)
As somebody whos grinding BN5 postgame lately, I appreciate all these late night uploads
@@swallow_skyla3602Dominerd has got to be one of my least favourite viruses to face, RIP

One of my favourites.
Me hearing you talking about how much set up is required
“Do you hear yourself right now?”
Ahhh xD Dee life of set up chips. They are the best

just to frame how bad this chip is outside of combos, i did not know each one had a preset row.
Alright class Get your notebooks out.
This guy knows way more Virus Busting than Good Old Miss Marry.
Hey, can you do an episode based on SP chips getting stronger based on Busting Level?
i remember this chip from the anime (dingo tomahawk man op save himself from falling
I hate those viruses in MMBN4 cause they went through your area and left cobwebs on it.
There is a little trick where you can use windrack it will deal massive damage if you have 2 or 1 colum to move
Zetsu is absolutely nuts in his combo videos
Dirge is the best

doesnt spawn on a hole? :/
I think Version 2 is the most useful one. Trapping your opponent in one row no matter where they are? That's groovy.
My mind:colorpanel+whiteweb+elecpull+windrack=nice damage
it seems like the chip requires to much setup to be viable
It's technically also on another game, but it's not mainline, so eh...
