It has come to the point that I come to these videos to learn new grooves and licks. I think I sat four hours a few days back just playing/rewinding and learning and exploring the concepts I learned from this channel!
It is so nice to see a demonstration that highlights the sound of the pedal instead of the person doing the demonstration. While Mike is an incredible guitarist, these demo's show off the full range of the pedals using a variety of guitars. The fact that he inspires our playing while demonstrating pedals is just one of life's little extras. Thanks for great product demos!

Tablature Butler yes he's a great player, his reviews however have become 3 minute Andy shows that hardly feature the pedal. They even have brought Herman's to pgs who demonstrates the full range of the pedal.

This is some seriously sick guitar playing.
This little box pours out electric honey and the price is ridiculously low. I think ehx made this pedal just to piss off the klon owners who paid a fortune.

Very good demo! Too many demos are of a guy showing how fast and loud he can play,with no actual demo happening.This on the other hand showed me what this pedal can do . Thank you! By the way, Ive had mine for maybe 5 hours ,and like it more the longer I use it.Im using it with a Fender Strat and a Vox AC4TV

Finally someone that can demonstrate this pedal without using annoying blues licks that won't ever show the true potential of a pedal. Thank you for this, was so hard to find a good demo that included this pedal 😂
Makes me want to have six of that same pedal on my board. All dialed in differently.
A lot of comments I read in other places people like to set the drive max to 12 cause supposedly after 12 it doesn't sound good, I use the drive at 3 or 4 and the volume at 9 and I love it.

Idk i think the midrange is still a bit compressed like most OD pedals. But it doesn't change the fact that this pedal has a very nice sound!

Would this be a good boost type pedal Mike? I have the LPB-1, was gonna switch to the MXR Micro Amp, but this seems much more adjustable. Great price too! Awesome playing.

I recently bought this pedal. I love it! I have one question though. Whenever I stop playing, and the pedal is on, it's really fuzzy, just fuzz static noise. Sounds like a left a wah pedal on. Even with my guitar volume down, and on any channel on my amp, still makes noise. Any reason for this, is that part of it, and any way of stopping it? Thanks.
This video sold me on the pedal, which I'm finally picking up today. But, mostly, I've found myself coming back to it again and again just to hear Mike's playing and his always spectacular tones. The man can PLAY, and squeezes beauty out of everything he plugs his guitars into.

A friend has one. I have a tone of great ODs. And my Katana has even more. But the between the transparency, headroom, and dynamic range this is a must have. I thought I was done buying ODs. Guess not!

I got that pedal too, it is quite good. I still look for the ultimate pedal, which maybe not exist? What I would like to have is an amp which is almost clean however has incredible feedback. So far I just had that experience with an old Marshall of 1967 Model JTM100. I had my guitar at normal level and this amp had my guitar with a standing sound as long as I wanted. So the sound was "standing", no decay. Amazing. However this amp was too expensive fo me... Which amp these days can deliver this in Clean Mode? I do not know anyone. Perhaps you folks do?

Adding a Booster pedal after the Soul Food would really help.
Is the feedback you're getting from the archtop coming just from the Soul Food or are you using any other boosting?
I assume dialing down the treble knob on this will make it not get in the way of my own treble booster?
I love creamy feedback but my artcore is already sensitive to it.
What amp are you using and are you adding any effect when in garage band?

Mike is this similar to the Alpha Drive you demoed a while back? I believe that was also a Klon clone. Anyway, another amazing demo. If I keep watching your demos I'm going to have to get a 2nd mortgage. Thanks.
