I appreciate that you made this video of the ants inside the formicarium you previously created. Many other videos I've seen on building these were not followed up with this and I was left wondering how well things worked out after hearing that many formicariums aren't safe for the ants. It's nice to see that this one worked out beautifully. Thank you.
amazing video I’m glad your back again. The 2 most important things with macro recording is: A tripod And a really bright light. The more light you get the hover F you can have meaning a higher focus. And that’s really good for recording ants that move a lot as it gives some extra breathing room. The only this is, with a lot of light you may get a very orange look or blue or something like that. So if you record in manual you will have a setting that is made for that specific thing. You can adjust it for the colour of your light. So you can make it more or less blue and orange. Hope this helps. Fill free to ask more questions if you want. - ant Holleufer
very nice. my Messor barbarus unfortunately only have 15 workers and are just chilling around in the test tube.... I am happy when my Messor colony is as big as yours.

Will they hibernate if in my Livingroom tank 5x2x2 but temp slightly warmer in summer and slightly colder in winter ❄️ as I'm in Scotland and heating will be on and so on will only be slight changes want to get it right before ch going from fish keeping to this thanks 👍
Love the channel! Also from one ant enthusiast to another, I've noticed you refer to all your ants by male pronouns when actually most ants including all workers are female, which I've always found a neat fact about them. Hope to see more of your ants soon!
That’s right Barbary harvester ants are really underrated and they are also really strong i putted two red imported fire ants and one major Messor Barbarus and he destroyed them
