- McDonald's restaurants outside of the US serve a bunch of unique dishes that you can't get Stateside. So when I was in Barcelona, Spain, earlier this month for MWC, I made it a mission to try McDonald's menu items that I would never be able to order at a regular American McDonald's.

I have been all over the world, i always stop into a mcdonalds to give the weird shit a go. I am sure he ate more than 1 meal while he was in spain, don't get so caught up in it. Typically i go at the airport before i leave while waiting for a flight, but still, one meal out of many while on a trip is not a big deal.

You are not paying for the beer because you have paid the whole "menu" of the Big Mac, that in fact it includes a drink, your beer in this case. So well, you have paid but you dont know it.

This is not the point. What they are saying is that in some countries Beer is either an extra on top of your menu OR there isn't beer at all.
Still, if they sold beer at mcdonalds in the USA it would be considered an premium drink with a surchage attached, they would never just include beer as if it was coke. Why? Because they know customers would pay for it.
I think he meant the"Beer fee" as in someplaces charge a fee (2-4 dollars) to replace the drink in a combo.

Special Agent Dale Cooper when I went to Madrid we did manage to find a local sports bar/pub that had great food. There were a lot of restaurants in my grandfathers city though, which is Gijon.

I'm Indian and have eaten McDonald's in both India and plenty of times in the US. McDonald's USA is MILES better than McDonald's India, in pretty much every single common dish you can think of (which aren't that many). I've had McDonald's in some other Asian countries as well, and in my opinion none of them comes even close to USA... But at least they all have the OG Big Macs, which we don't have here in India :(.

It really depends where you go in America. Places with more younger people working (like teenagers who are excited about making money) have much better customer service than a mcdonalds with older employees who use it as a full time job. I've been to a lot of mcdonalds where customer service is really good.

Recently in Barcelona I went to the McDonald's next to the Sagrada familiar, popped in. Went up to the machine, ordered a beer, payed by card.... 3 mins later my cold refreshing beer turned up, I took it outside, sat in the warm sun and slowly enjoyed my refreshment while Marvelling at Antonio Gaudi's masterpiece! McDonalds menu in most countries are amazing. Here in Perú they added the huancaina sauce and maracuya beverages, they successfully mixed the menu with our regional dishes in a near perfect mixture.

Chicken Mac may be available in some parts of the States (the regular, small patty sized one), as have been on an on-and-off basis in Puerto Rico, but the reporter was having a Grand Chicken Mac, which have (4oz. or 110+ gr.) (Royale w/Cheese for some) Quarter Pounder-sized patties and 3 buns to match, which is certainly not available on almost any Stateside McD's. I don't know if McD's have a national supplier for the large 3-bun set that would make such an item...
The closest thing we see to this Grand Chicken Mac is KFC's Big Crunch (2 crunchy mixed meat patties w/lettuce and mayo). That makes the 6.95 Euro (~ U$ 7.75 incl. VAT) price, including the Fish Bites upgrade VERY REASONABLE if priced similarly in the States (even better in Puerto Rico).
The Wedge Fries are sometimes offered as an extra, but the cost for the liquor licenses would make draft beer unprofitable in most Stateside locations...

Hello Hi as an American Indian anyway, all European food seems bland as hell. Actually white people in general make really bland food, not to be racist but you do. I don't even like Indian food in the slightest bit but non-European food tends to be way less bland. I'd rather eat Chinese, or Mexican food. Italy is at most the only saving grace because people genuinely know how to make good food that isn't too bland.
