He thought that lele is just a terrain setter (since it's a whole terrain team and generally lele is used with terrain extender, I'm using it with choice scarf) and I will switch out to something else so he tried to hit me with a stab move (That's what he said in the chat during the game) Plus bro got a hard read on me with the dragon dance earlier so he definitely knows a bit about prediction, it's just that I'm running a stupid set lol
"Don't want any of my mons to be totallly dependant on terrains" yeah..... you definitely needed PsyTerrain to block priority moves for your Shell Smash Poltegeist and Alakazam -_-
So, right, the whole thing is you’re using Alakazam? It has a mega evolution that’s completely busted. It’s allowed in National Dex Doubles, which also lets you use your terrain setters more efficiently, scarf Kartana still goes crazy, and I haven’t really tried the polteageist but with some help I’m sure it would do fine.
Just run Expanding force instead of toxic. You already said “(for some reason)” when you told us about toxic. Might as well know why you chose a 4th move slot.
Mate the risk reward on expanding force is still better, cause it does decent damage outside of terrain anyway. Don't runt psychic, you either break with the wallbreaker or you don't.
Psychic is already disappointing outside of terrain and all of the good moves outside of terrain are signatures. Low key outside of terrain psychic’s a bottom tier typing. Weak offensively due to low move bp and defensively. May as well go all in on its saving grace.
>First guy used Dragon Claw Dnite... On a Tapu Lele switch-in
That alone tells me all I need to know.

not every team has priority 🤯
plus poltergeist isn’t completely relying on psyterrain
@@mn3iscool But 9 out of 10 teams run some form of priorityv🤯🤯🤯
The reasoning was to not be totally reliant on. Ofc they still gonna take advantage of it
@@mn3iscool 9 out of 10 matches usually have priority

Agree it's only 10 bp weaker but hits much harder in psy terrain

have 2 alakazam one with expanding and the other with psychic (think stupider not smarter)
National Dex doesn't allow that
Almost ever format has species clause
