    One way you can tell someone really knows their stuff is that they make the complex 'simple'. Great skill shown here and so helpful for someone like me who's still finding their way around this world. Thanks, Brett, great job and really appreciated, mate.

    great tutorial but after adjusting your grad filter and adjusting your horizon you put in your 10 stop filter and mess up your alignment - it´s clear to see that the filterholder is rotating when you push in the 10 stop filter - great image by the way

    • @BrettWoodPhoto
      @BrettWoodPhoto  7 лет назад +1

      Alan thanks mate, covering the eye piece is not that criticial unless its direct light going in , on this day it was early morning soft light & over cast

    • @andrewford80

      for the record, it's main the metering tha'ts affected by not covering the eyepiece. the mirror blocks out any light coming from that entrance.

    Great demonstration Brett... I'm real close to making the plunge on the NiSi V5 - Pro kit...
    One question, was the rear viewfinder closed before taking the exposure or did you drop a cloth over it beforehand?
    The final image was stunning.
    Bill...

    • @BrettWoodPhoto
      @BrettWoodPhoto  6 лет назад

      William Farr no I didn’t cover the rear view finder as there was very soft light that morning & no direct light near the view finder , it is definitely a wise idea to cover it though , I usually just use a piece of black tape. If you’d like to order the V5 Pro kit , drop me an email - brett@brettwoodphotos.com & I’ll help you out with a good deal. Thanks Brett

      Or if you have a Canon, there is a little rubber cover threaded onto the standard neck strap!
      As I don’t use the standard strap, I just tied mine to my cable release with some thick mono fishing line...

      Rita Aitken. LEE filters are good, but NISI are much better to reduce the Color Cast. Using LEE app is not recommended with NISI, 1.45 stop is different. it makes noticeable differences in some situations. better to use NISI app.

    Hello Brett; I have a question for NISI landscape CPL. I have other brand CPL, it is made by two pieces glasses in one CPL. So if I spin CPL, I can see CPL changes darker to lighter. But NISI CPL looks only made by single glass. I spin it in V5 holder it look nothing change. I just can't understand how NISI CPL works. Thanks if you can answer me.
